The system is far from perfect. There is a reason why they removed arena teams for example. And ppl being ‘bad af’ doesnt have to do anything with anything. Just another poor argument, that doesnt contribute anything to the problem. Also, Draconian changes, really? I’d hardly call preventing cheating and botting Draconian.

So, if you are in a accommodation queue, and people are cheating to get ahead in the queue? Maybe then the problem is with you?
Of course not, what kind of trash argument is that?
Its the systems fault and those who abuse it. Get in the game dude.

Frankly, they either need to:

A)Forbid any coaching for gold /boosting and they need to implement the rule that if there is only 1 person in the team, you’re not eligible for gladiator.

B) Any suspicious and ilicit behaviour , (i.e non stop changing teams and playign with people from 0 >2600,leaving constantly teams, gold trades constantly) will be banned.

C) Implement system reporting that’s clearly visible to public when it comes to cheating, i.e you get 200,-300 reports, GM investigates the suspicuous character/team etc.

D) Make core changes to arena to better suit today’s generation in order to balance the abusing.

stop being hypocrite people! you’re ok with all the other boosts? & just crying because arena boosts exist? boosting in general effect everyone & destroying the game.
-thousands of players getting level boosts in dungeons by afking in dungeon
-hundred of players is getting raid boosts for items by afking in raid
-tons of players are buying gold to save time / energy!
-many players are buying many type of service!
-arena rating boost, honor farm boost.

it’s hopeless case & there is no cure for this corrupted game.

you can’t accept the boosts which benefit you “as leveling” and say No to other types of boosts, if you’re ok with boosting? you’re ok with any type of boost and if you’re against boosting? you should be against all type of boosts.

if the game allowed in-game service for in-game currency? then all type of boosts are normal,it’s your fault for playing without realizing that this is expected.

Account sharing and piloting other accounts/characters to glad/r1 for gold is against ToS. Same with wintrading and boosting for RMT. If you think all these boosted accounts are self-played for gold then you are mistaken sir.

personally I’m against all boosting, though I understand the existence of low level stuff like leveling boosts, but the important distinction here which you are not mentioning, and which is a very crucial thing to this whole ordeal, is that boosting people through dungeons and such for exp is a whole different beast from boosting people through rated PvP. there’s a certain level of integrity to be maintained there that isn’t present in any random content.

would you not agree if this was any other game with ranked modes? If someone gets boosted through normals in league for faster exp gains it’s not really a big deal, if someone gets boosted by a challenger player through bronze/silver/gold for rewards then all integrity of the ranked system goes out the window.

i’m also against all type of boosting, and i’d like blizzard to ban anyone breaking the Tos, not just the arena ladder issue which doesn’t have major impact on the game…as Bots/gold sellers/buyers does.

but i think that if blizzard forced their rules and truly investigated to ban all the cheaters “account sharing / anyone doing real money trade”? this game population will drop to less than it’s half numbers then blizzard might discontinue the classic project for the poor income out of it.

Isn’t that what the 2 weeks time between titles is for? They DQ people who cheated and such? Just wait and hope I guess.

Yeah it is 2 weeks, so september 22:nd. Im crossing my fingers for all of them to get DQ:d as well :slight_smile:

Do they usually catch people on retail nowdays do you guys know? In that 2 week window.

No idea but they catch rmt boosters in the pvp scene.

to pretend that they care, they catch few people, let’s say if there are 100cheater? they’'d catch 5~10 and that’s it.

anyway blizzard never ban you if you’re heavy payer!

I would not know as I do not cheat and I do not think anyone would either as those names don’t make it public nor do the bans. Just that some would be DQd.

The funniest part of all of this is that Xandyn shouldn’t even be allowed to have an account. Back in s11 he hacked Hydra’s account and deleted the rank 1 team, in order to get the rank 1 spot for his own team. How does something like that not earn a permanent ban lol

As soon as S2 in the original game, and probably earlier, people were already wintrading.

It’s not the game that’s corrupt, but the people playing it.

By the way just 10 ppl boosted in the top 200 doesnt seem so bad. Still an integrity of 95% on the ladder. Ill take it.

It’s not on the top 200, it’s on the top #93.
Which gives, 10/93 ~ 11%, which is very very very bad. And it’s probably even more than 10 teams of out 93.
