I’ve been playing Classic since phase 1 all the way through phase 6, but meantime I also play Shadowlands.
Since my SL guild may want to venture into TBC Classic aswell, we’re a little iffy on the server and faction thing (because most of us are on different servers and factions).
Will faction change be a thing for TBC? I would really love to roll Alliance spacecow (Funny I’m posting with an alliance twink but yeh, I’m horde in reality).
I wont be going Shadowlands either or its future expansions but with tbc annoucemeant I will be expecting huge disappointmment so time for me to unsub

I’m not sure myself tbh, it may have been mid-tbc or wotlk. But nothing stops them from releasing it early TBC so people can hop realm and play with Retail guild or friends or whatever else the reason. It’s potentially big income for Blizzard.
It came in wotlk, imo should not come tbc.
I really hope this time Blizzard will not hear the “no changes” crowd… besides all these “fanatics” with classic does not want TBC to begin with and they will keep playing vanilla. So I hope we will see services, barbershop or even dual spec.
Honestly I’ve enjoyed Classic with the Classic guild I had (had because P6 Naxx then derp you know). Now I could reform with Shadowlands guild in TBC but not being able to roll Alliance and form on the same server… Well, let’s just say I’m not very motivated to level another priest from scratch just to replay TBC

they added boost in prepatch and server transfer aswell.
As TBC makes all classes available to both factions, it should be possible and recommended from a financial point of view. the services exist already in retail, so no added development will be required.
It doesn’t change anything to the game itself, just a luxury service for those who wish to use it.
I hope this is added too! I have friends that are just starting in TBC and all going Horde and I have all my time invested into Alliance, feels a waste to loose it all when faction change makes sense with todays gaming culture.

I wanted to play with some friends. My friends play Alliance. So I am leveling Alliance NE Warrior, and enjoying it. Simple solution, for a minor “problem”.
If you don’t like leveling, you don’t like Classic WoW. Nothing wrog with that. It is, what it is.
Maybe one faction change per account for a price.
Don’t be lazy, mon. Hexx be leveling all classes to max level on both factions. And I be workin’ full time. I be da medicine man.
Then Hexx either resigns from his job, or take it slow and be patient until one day he gets all classes to max level in both factions.
They can’t pander to Hexx to make the game as easy as to fit his work schedule.
Also: look at all these “29 days later” bumps on this thread. I bet you my moustache that it is the same dude posting and cross-liking his own post with several different alts.
