Which warlock race is better in TBC for PvP?
UD
-Hardiness gets a nerf in TBC to 15% (down from 25%)
-Warlock will be the most played class for Arena (SL/SL is OP) and WoTF will give you the edge.
Ud for min-max, orc for lore
Plus the combo Lock + Shadow Priest will be top notch at the beginning which means more fears around.
Then if Blizzard puts the limit to what 2vs2 rating can obtain you’ll need to reroll because in less than 2 weeks it will be all RMP at high ratings.
No it’s not coz shared dr’s
If you don’t alternate fera and charm yes, but that would make you a bad lock.
fera??
What does it mean?
Charm don’t work
Did you ever played arena?
Fear* Typos happen xD
charm can work really good if you can manage your pet, alternatevly (depending on opponent class/race) there is always the silence from the fel hunter. I know you have to decide which pet to use before seeing your opponents but you’ll evolve your strategy the more you go on.
Silence from fel hunter??? come on it’s just a counterspell.
I don’t recall it perfectly not haivng played a lock but I remmeber that there was a way for the fel hunter to have a small silence on the target. It might be from either a talent or baseline in TBC or WotLK.
Seduce and fear share DR. Felhunter silence only works if you hit the enemy on cast, and it’s only for that school of magic, 6sec on a 24s CD
Wtf? It is 3 seconds silence on top of counterspell effects (8 seconds btw).
If you are to lecture people make sure you do your homework. LoL
[Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): Duration reduced to 5 seconds (rank 1) and 6 seconds (rank 2), and cooldown reduced to 24 seconds.
i am really excited to see how arena have evolved during all these years and players, do you think the old king Warrior/Druid will lose its crown?
I don’t think so, the comp was so popular because it was passively better and resilience + tree form made druids able to tank damage.
Tree form were not used in TBC Pvp it was thing on WoTLK, Im pretty sure i remember this right.
“Shapeshift into the Tree of Life. While in this form you increase healing received by 25% of your total Spirit for all party members within 45 yards, your movement speed is reduced by 20%, and you can only cast Swiftmend, Innervate, Nature’s Swiftness, Rebirth, Barkskin, poison removing and healing over time spells, but the mana cost of these spells is reduced by 20%.
The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects.”
Yea, No armor bonus there + moment speed reducion was too much for PvP arena, but yea, as people are more skilled we totally might see Trees in TBC Arena
It’s healing amount of HotS that made Tree Druids unkillable, they just stacked hots and the occasional cast that even if silenced they could recast after. Dispellers against Druids aren’t even that good because of mana issues on offensive stuff compared to healing costs.
Alright, its weird that i tend only remember druid not picking deep resto and something else instead… i even played druid in TBC and never went for tree form in case of pvp but anyway i sucked
They all played Dreamstate Restokin back in the days.
It lost it’s crown back in TBC when SL/SL Lock+Resto Druid emerged. It is the strongest comp you can run.
