I’m going Draenei shaman on prepatch and I was thinking whether it would be a good idea not to lock PvP titles so Belfs and Draenei could get at least some rank3/4/5.
Lore wise it would make sense to have them as seargents at least. Like they joined the factions and showed their worth in battle. But never got to be commanders or generals of course.
Yeh That, thanks! I also watched a YT video last night where some guy was predicting that it might last longer than the usual two weeks which I think would be a great idea. Not only would it give belfs and Draenei time to level but also for lvl 60 to have some fun raiding with prepatch talents.
I agree with you. I thought about rerolling to a Draenei, but two weeks for 1-60 is just not fun for me, I can do it, but it would be exhausting, rather than inspiring and then I need another few weeks to level to 70. 6 weeks would be perfect, I could just spend weekends, leveling without any pressure, learning new talents and mechanics.
They will probably add 60 boost before the TBC prepatch so people can buy a fresh 60 Blood elf Paladin or Draenei Shaman, play cap for 3-4weeks and you will get atleast rank 8.
It’s Anniversary alot of people dont even touch 60 because they only wan’t TBC.
Wikipdia can tell you the same facts, and with fewer errors and biases
It’s harder to avoid any AI, as it pops up in a general Google search. I’m currently training my adblocker to “eat it”
In the TBC prepatch of Classic in 2021, Blizzard made available a “boost” on their cash shop which created, for a high eur price, a lvl 58 character without professions in a terrible green gear ready to walk through a Dark Portal.
It was not available for Draenei and Blood Elves and the resulting chars were treated with a varying degrees of hostility by the community until they got rid of all their starter ‘Communal’ gear. My dungeon pugs for example would kick players in Communal gear immediately.
It is a reasonable assumption that the same thing will be available in Anniversary, except possibly even for Draenei/Belfs.
Yes, clearly I feel a deep rooted jealousy toward someone who paid what amounts to a chump change so that they can enter Outland in an equivalent of level 30 green gear, not knowing what their skills do or when to use which and basically make it so you 4 man the dungeon, carrying their useless bum. Yes. Deep, jealousy.
If they add the boost this time around, you can bet your shirt the Communal heroes are gonna get the kick treatment again.
It’s not jealousy about the gear, it is jealousy about the time the person has saved, may be two or three month of his lifetime.
I know how to play my classes and I played a lot. Not all classes, but most. If I would have the opportunity to get a lvl58 class I already played, I would take it because I know what I am doing.
If you actually did some research you’d find out that using Gen AI has an extremely high energy consumpation.
“The computing power required to build generative AI demands quantities of energy and water on a scale that can cause severe and long-term damage to the environment. This makes the development of generative AI a human rights issue”
If AI development continues on its current trajectory, it will compound the environmental harm we are already doing to our planet, long before it gets the chance to show us whether it can live up to its much-hyped potential"
Insult me all you want.
It just goes to show you dont have anything to fall back on
