TBC released on 2.4.3 will ruin the game. We need progressive patches

Classic ruined? How come, seems fine to me?

I dont trust Blizzard to make any good decisions. I would rather have them roll out all the patches in sequence. If that means people farming full resistance sets for arena in the first few seasons, so be it. If that means having crappy loot from Kara in the first 5 weeks so be it.

If there is anything I don’t want its that they roll with the full dungeon/raid nerf 2.4.3.

Anything that avoids that is somewhat acceptable. I will take the bugs and certain arena advantages to only a few classes gladly for this.

Just trolling? You should know we are blazing through content with talents/gear that only came available deep into AQ back in the old days. Couple that with 15 years of content information and lag free youth made Classic a snoozefest.

Well, if it would be a snoozefest, I would leave it long time ago. To me, it is just fine and I play it almost every day from day 1.
I just dont get why do you play “snoozefest” game.

Don’t listen to the “muh no changes” crowd. This should be released with 2.4.3 talents and itemisation. No one with a brain advocates for the 2.0 mess, because world buffs are still a thing, Ritual of Refreshment is still not out, Detect Magic is still a thing, summoning into instances is still not possible, etc. etc.

That doesn’t benefit anyone except those who played on private servers and rolled F R E S H™ every other month.

that’s kind of the point of authentic TBC release.

I agree with your post, but this argument doesn’t make sense.

The AV version has nothing to do with somechanges. When they stated they were releasing 1.12 ppl knew which AV it was

The amount of premades is because of the playerbase, not because of “somechanges”. You’ll still see plenty of premades now when equal or even more powerful gear excists

Which is the idiot and unbalanced one, released after they were getting ready for TBC.

Which I agree with

There are still (non russian) AV premades? People doing AB and WSG do it for completely different reasons than many of those that did AV premades for rank 7-10 gear.

I havent seen any besides russians?

Where are you going with this? Some people rank for gear in AB+WSG, some do it in AV

If you deny #nochanges was destined to fail, you lack vision

So what you are saying is that you have no idea why people did AV premades?

If you think anyone ever thought it would “succeed” you are probably mistaken.

To get gear and rep, yes.

Easier raids doesnt necessarily mean that they are bad. Easier means more people will get to do it. You wont feel a sense of accomplishment however you will have more people taking part in it, which will prevent a server from dying.

In retail you have your top 20-50 guilds who clear the content in a month from its release, then the rest of the population keeps struggling to clear it until the next patch releases. Those people are never satisfied and those are the people who complain on forums etc all the time for years. They end up quitting the game because they never feel they are truly fulfilled.

Then you look at classic, you have more “top guilds” on a server than you have incompetent ones. This makes the game a lot healthier for a couple of reasons. More people in your recruitment pool, more people taking part in activities so you dont have to worry about missing those “key people”, a healthier server economy for consumables, more competitive approach because you need to feel more suitable for people who are looking for a guild (Faster clears times etc).

Im playing the game since February without a break. Do you know when was the last time i played for this long? WotLK. This means im more engaged and invested in the game than i was for the last decade. And im pretty sure im not the only one who feels that way.

Nighthold was my favorite raid since the first tier of Cataclysm. As soon as they released ToS i quit the game even though i cleared NH weeks before the ToS release. Why? Because i saw that the top guild that cleared ToS mythic had 300+ tries on KJ. Why would i wanna waste a ridiculous amount of my time on something that will become irrelevant 3 months later? Whats there to keep me invested in the game?

Anyway the point im trying to make here is that difficult doesnt always mean its good. And TBC raids werent that easy by the way. Because the difference was that during vanilla everybody was bad. That wasnt the case with TBC. You will probably clear the content faster than you did back in the day but your experience wont be as different as it was for classic.

Agree 100%, please give us pre-nerf dungeons/heroics/raids Blizzard. The nerfs were done later on in TBC’s life to help newer players catch up, if the game is released as 2.4.3 people will just breeze through the content like in Classic. I want heroics and raids to be a good challenge.

Aye i remember alliance guild actually offering gold to guildies if they got a shammy to 70. I was alliance aswel.
