So I’m currently leveling a Nightelf hunter on the server Earthshaker, which is the only PvP server that is Alliance dominated (61%/39%). it’s not that I don’t like horde, but come on… their races are ugly. the best you can do is Female troll or orc or undead, the rest look terrible. If I was allowed to get a free race change for my troll hunter in TBC, I would gladly roll horde, but no, I’ll have to start over from level 1 or pay 25 Euro, if race change is even possible in TBC. Also, I was thinking of leveling a druid tank and there is no way I’m playing a Tauren, it’s too bad Trolls can’t be druids until Cata.

There will be a lot of try hard Horde players on the PvP servers in TBC. I’d suggest staying on a PvE server as Alliance.
I just hope not too many players reason that way - PvE servers are already significantly imbalanced as it is.
Well considering there’s basically no reason to roll Alliance in TBC other than lore I suppose you probably don’t have to worry about that too much. As a poster said above we can probably expect there to be something like a 40:60 ratio of A:H or even worse so most likely PvE servers won’t stay as Alliance dominated as they are now. I’m just hoping the entire Alliance population on our server doesn’t run away to PvE.
I wouldn’t know, I think a lot of players won’t reroll upon TBC. I mean, I do hope it’s as you say, but I’m not confident about it^^
Of course many people won’t reroll. Some will and probably it’s mostly going to be Alliance rerolling Horde. But it’s not really even about that. People that will start playing in TBC Classic will have little reason to roll Alliance (unless they have friends there or for lore related reasons).
That is true and we are both from the same server so we know how it’s like. Unfortunately TBC will create massive faction imbalance unless Blizzard have the balls to address it.

I’ve put down way too much time into my stable of chars to switch faction. I suspect many here think people minmax way more than they actually do. ZT will continue being an Alliance stronghold.
Iirc, Defias Brotherhood was always a very balanced RPPvP server even in TBC. Hopefully the same can be said for ZT.
BloodElfs! Also, I think same faction arena is possible so yah many will go horde.
I tried Horde in Classic and it just not my thing, going Alliance…
