TBC wow token

the problem is if you go down this road then next you gonna want something else they didnt have back then and then something else and so on and you gonna end up with a version of TBC that was nothing like it was before wich is the whole point of releasing classic and TBC again isnt it? reliving it exaclty like it was, no exceptions

idk brooooooo

I think that just has to be allowed… and there are content/patch phases in TBC Classic like Vanilla Classic so what will they achieve with gold cap? their personal gains/goals? that is not going to effect most players at all really, unless they manipulate the market but that’s always been a thing even without gold capped players.

That’s already happening with 10000 boosting communities and boosting sites.

You think 2100 in 2’s due to boosters is hard now?Wait for TBC.

And yes,its going to be nothing like original TBC,because this is something that’s 14 years later.People have better understanding of game, people found out easier way to gear themselves ($$) and many other things.

I definitely see the amount of arena boosting in TBC, that’s for sure, but we as players must counteract that by not losing arena. Sounds easy to say but a booster (even if it’s a Rank 1 player on retail) is not immortal, is not untouchable, especially in Classic/TBC where it’s much more rock, paper, scissor-combinations right?

China TBC will have token 100% as they have WoW classic token nowdays.

Let’s not follow China’s steps.

Also, your character kinda looks like General Raam from Gears of War in that transmog. Badass

Source please?

Start farming now. They can’t delete everything just because.

4 months you have for sure.

^^ This.

If people played Vanilla they had gold to bring with them into TBC. I’m not sure how this is any different.

When did they say TBC would be a fresh start?
TBC has only just been officially announced as of yesterday.

TBC also isn’t a sale, it’s included in the base subscription.

Blizz stated that tbc would not be the same, People change, new players, different time. That what they said in blizzcon, and I dont believe I see they wrote anywhere it is going to be exactly the same

Can probably make a killing selling stuff on the ah to these rich cats that’ll probably just buy their gear and profession mats.

Google please.

Most players worked hard for that gold, worked hard to get the mount or mounts, just like 15+ yrs ago so its only normal they want that with them travelling into TBC.

If you don’t play Classic, how can you judge what the economy will be like whether fresh or transfers, and if they introduce the Token or they don’t?

I think what changes things is that Blizzard agreed that pure #NoChanges didn’t replicate the old experience, but allowed for degeneracy (World Buffs + raidlogging are one instance). That’s why Burning Crusade will have changes. The singular 58 Boost is for example an instant example of that. Seals not being faction-specific another.

Many who play Classic right now play Classic because it is not Retail - but sadly things such as boosting culture did manage to creep in at the end. Besides, Gold is already insanely valuable in TBC for things such as Profession consumables (Drums with no Exhaustion), or Flying. People being able to obtain in-game Gold through IRL money means (Tokens) will skew things a lot more in the older expansions than in Retail.

Edit to add, if the Token was added in TBC Classic, in the long term the boosting will become even worse than in Retail because of need of attunements.

There hasn’t been a single official source that stated there would be fresh Classic servers, only a lot of hope and speculation, Google please…

Blizzard themselves have always been in doubt on how to continue with ‘project Classic’, as whichever approach you use, you’re going to tick somebody off. I think what they’ve decided to roll with is a decent comprise and new P1 Classic servers could still happen.

Imho, putting the WoW token into Classic TBC will make boosting more of a problem, not less… and as a number of previous posters have pointed out, lots of players had plenty of gold going from Vanilla into TBC back in the day, you were only seriously short of coin, if you had not been playing long, before the Xpac launched and were in a hurry to get to Outland.

If you’re seriously planning on playing alliance on a pvp server in BC you set yourself for pain big time, no amount of gold or flying will save you, The undead rogues, mages, warlox, priests are waiting for alliance meat before the game’s even out. Do yourself a favour and reroll Horde if you’re on a pvp realm, as soon those realms will be the equivalent of PvE realms since no ally is gonna be there.

Sure Ally had some fun in pvp in WoW vanilla classic, but TBC with flying mounts? Only rogues and druids can escape, but then you’ll have no1 left to play with cause of complete pretty blood elf domination 99/1 Horde/Ally ratios

Thats why after 3 months of hell in BC Ally is gonna cry for fresh Classic vanilla servers, trust me I’m like a prophet

I will play Alliance and I’m going on a PvE server yes. I would play on a PvP but the ganking is going to be horrible this time around.
