Teldrassil and lordaeron

Any news on Teldrassil & Lordaeron being regrown/rebuilt for 9.0.

It would be a great shame to not see them return updated. Especially teldrassil since the Night elfs were robbed of their justice they at least deserve their home restored.

It would be fun if Horde could take burned Teldrassil and use it as scorched capital of Forsaken while Night Elves would grow some trees around Lordaeron and plant some stuff over castle~ taking it as capital

Probably not gonna happen since Tyrande pushed us (/cough) back from Darkshore huh?

I’d much prefer if we reinhabited Lordaeron City. Not the sewers, but actually make the city a city… With nice Forsaken architecture and iconic green sludge rivers of course!

That’s what I was thinking. Actually rebuild it nows the perfect time.

Instead of Blizzard trying to erase and forget BfA happened because they realised how much of a mistake it was narratively, I’d rather they acknowledged it fully and just regrew Teldrassil, and the Forsaken rebuild the Undercity.

Actually… The name of the city is “Capital City”.

Or well… It used to be…

Sadly no race that has lost their home ever seems to get it back.

We got stormwind back after the cataclysm. Okay it wasn’t completely destroyed but it still got rebuilt.

With Calia Menethil as new Forsaken leader it would be plausible that they rebuild the Ruins of Lordaeron. But I think that new cities won’t be major hubs like Stormwind or Orgrimmar but cities like Bilgewater Harbor, Mechagon or Stromgarde let’s say. Putting it simply they won’t have a barber shop or an action house…I don’t think also that they regrown Teldrassil, I see the remaining Kaldorei moving to Hyjal. Maybe Blizzard will transform it into a Night Elven zone like the Dreamgrove

Zidormi will be confused with more than two timelines

I had an interview with Steve Balduser, he said “We have plans to give Lordaeron back to Alliance and also rebuild Teldrassil for Night Elves. We also have an innovative idea related to Horde side and Forsaken, we are planning to turn Durotar into a portable city, in which Forsaken and Vulpera will live in huts and tents in peace.”

So there it is, the answer you seek.

Really :joy: I doubt that would be allowed.

Stormwind and Ogrimmar will always be the exception.
I guess they want to concentrate players in the capital cities as opposed to have them scattered around multiple cities.

That way it looks busier than it actually is in reality.
In example, I want to leave my BEs characters in Silvermoon.
Each time I want a transmog or a portal to go anywhere, I have to move to Ogrimmar.
The only character without this problem is my BE mage.

I had this discussion in the story forum a couple of months ago, if you are interested.

Cheers.

And let’s fix that too. Give it a real name. Make it a real city and give it some grimdark edgelord name. And rebuild Brill too. Make Tirisfal Great Again!

Sitting on the shores before teldrassil is a nice spot for a picnic. It’s a great tourist spot for Hordies.

Dont the Alliance now control Darkshore and most of Lordaeron now? Well in lore at least.

Be great to see Lordaeron rebuilt to something of its former glory. Be nice of Stormwind kind of returning the favour so to speak.

Going off of how… finalised both cities seemed to have been lost (that is to say, Undercity is basically Chernobyl now and you can’t build anything from the charred wood of a tree) i’d say they are probably gone for good sadly. Which for me is a crying shame because Undercity was one of the most unique places in the game.

Definitely not Lordaeron. They still have Silverpine and Hillsbrad (Which have very very VERY large Forsaken presence in them) and considering that you go to Tirisfal to meet with some Forsaken in 8.3, I’d say it’s still pretty firmly in Horde grasp.

A tree that big takes a bit to grow yano?

Only one likely to be rebuilt is Lordaeron.
