I was an alliance main up until Eternal Palace, until I decided to level horde to see the story of BfA from the other side
Then within a matter of a few months, I had accomplished more on my horde character than I had after playing my alliance character for years. At that moment I decided to make horde my main
Soon after I found a nice horde twitch streamer, and became part of the community, and regularly raid/m+/quest etc. with them … something I don’t think I ever experienced as alliance
Horde races are a nice bonus although I will always have a soft spot for my og male draenei

I’m alliance cause my friends are alliance. I do have some horde chars aswell, and also friends on horde side. I just dont have the time to maintain more then one character, and alliance will always be my home (unless horde gets draenei, then i can be persuaded to go horde 
).

I started wow playing alliance because my brother started on alliance too. I’ve played it for years. At some point I was interrested to how horde was and I’ve played horde for many more years, and I am a player since classic.
Ever since I went horde, i always think bad about alliance. How they’re all softies. My character irl tends more towards being a bit of a badass I guess
Now I would’ve never guessed I’d go back to alliance but I actually have some friends and my brother who didnt play wow for years coming back so I am back to alliance again.
Appearance wise I like horde much better too. For me undead still look as the coolest casters. I like how most of the horde classes look. Then judging how alliance looks… it’s all so plain… normal. Dwarves, humans… gnomes…
If it was fully up to me I’d play a horde. Purely a feeling thing. I just connect much better with them

Wanted to be Zandalari since they remodeled them in MoP in BFA I finally got to be one
I mean in general, the alliance is so boring.
Races are boring, people are borning.
All they do is wine day and night about how they want High elves, about pvp about anything in general.

I believe that Horde were the savage faction. But now they are cute. See the intro of Vanilla and mist of pandaria you will see how orcs were before and now.
How still people like the lore when they are not the same anymore.
on the horde side you experience the game with more friends, they have a duel spot in front of orgrimar while i played horde i barely got to see alliance they are very rare to see and it was nice to have community to chat with. People might say alliance is always high in numbers but thats simply not the case, alliance only players don’t know how lonely their journey is with wm on. if you like pvp do horde if youre all about questing do alliance.
Whatever the reason(s) that made you pick Alliance, it’s the same as to why people pick Horde.
They are currently leading in the furry department.
When I started WoW back in BC all the Alliance races seemed really boring: Humans (boo), dwarves, gnomes, elves and random tentacle people (back then I had no idea about dranei lore. I knew they were aliens but nothing more). Meanwhile Horde has zombies and minotaurs.
Then I just kept playing Horde.
