This is a very terrible event drop rates are so low that its not even worth your time. Second when the main event is done after 7 min or so and you miss it you need to wait 80 or so minutes. People that have a social life well bad luck for you because of the timing.

Why is the gear so poor from this event given the combination of timegated-ness and grindy-ness? They don’t seem to care about class balance during the pre-patch, so what’s the harm in giving out better gear so people can re-roll to one of the few classes that can actually do damage atm? It will be mostly irrelevant in a few weeks anyway.
The only silver-lining is it makes it pretty optional to do.

… don’t do what I did and not realise there is a quest when you pop through the portal, only noticed them on the way back, so will need to pop back and do all 3 again 
So, if you play on alts, while you are waiting, get them to pop through each portal to pick up the quests so you are ready

on top of the low currency drop and only 4.5k per account its even worse because the event is bugged and bosses never spawn. holy cow -.- another bummer

even people in game are not happy about it.
Bliz has done it this way to show their shareholders the number of active Afk players during this event and make it look successful.
shareholders are getting scammed.

Im extremely disapointed in the event.
Things cost too much, stuff drops too litte, things happen too seldom.
You have to tag a mob yourself to get residue from it; so being in a group does nothing for you.
Its one of the worst events I have experienced in many years when it comes to creativity and engagement-happiness.

the event would be better if you get 10-50 per mop. in this way at least you could farm for the rest of the 90min. now its 5min content 80min afk

What do you mean it’s terrible? I just waited 90 minutes for the Dragonblight one, killed the big slime thing, did two of the pre-boss events, got 350 residual memories (lmfao) and didn’t get anything from killing the Lich King.

I agree, it seems like it wasnt tested one bit…people make full parties and go balls to the walls and it simply brokes the event.
Event bugs out by its own as well, it has incredibly long timers, it spawns only in one zone so its killing that shard etc.
Seems like after tons of events like this (including tormentors of torghast which is still bugged by the way) Blizzard and its devs cannot realize that they cant do it. Do the event every 10 minutes in every zone and problems would be gone instead of killing the servers and rollback characters.

Well atleast you are able to do the event, for me it is 2nd time now, server is full lag , after killing initial memory the small one spawn but then event get bugged and boss never spawn. so ya great fun event! only if they knew this would happen. its not like timerift were like this or hearthstone event or any other similar event.

Thanks for the prepatch event and cost of bank tabs, you showed me that you truly dont care about the players, and my dumbass was thinking of giving them 80$ for epic edition just to play 3 days early, not anymore!
