This event is atrocious and I can picture the way the people who developed look like;
They are NOT focused on playability, fun or engaging; that’s for sure.

It was tested thoroughly, all the issues brought out here were reported in both PTR and beta. They just weren’t addressed.

Logged in, did quests, the second the event started I got DCd. By the time I’d logged back in the zerg was on the final boss. Lag was unbelievable and it was all over before I got a chance to tag anything.
Stuck around and killed a few of the mobs, but only got 1 currency per mob, and 5 for the elites.
And that’s it for another hour and a half. And if I’m a real glutton for punishment, the weekly is per character so I could go through the same on army of alts - except some of them are trapped in Pandamix. I’m not sure the rewards are worth the grind in any case, TBH.
On the plus side, warbank is finally working. I had a happy 2 minutes buying the only 2 tabs I can afford and filling them with stuff I’ve been saving for my aforementioned ‘army of alts’. If I can find them in the character select screen, which is longer than my arm…
So all in all, just another day in Azeroth. Thanks for indulging me as I vent my spleen. I feel much better now. Fun, joy bliss

Just did Dragonblight.
Completely unplayable. There is no loot or Quest completion, lag is almost as bad as the DF launch. Wait time being that long is just stupid. Either make it 30 minutes, or don’t bother.

after 18 years i dont have faith in anything… But since im only interested in some things in game like mogs, quests and low challenging group content, my disappointment is always lower than others. But when ill have no more fun i stop subbing (done this for 9 months during bg3 release).
If tww is bad… ill unsub and ill buy w40k rogue

Great event…Memories not spawning, wich bugs out the entire event. Laggy as it would be played on a dial modem. Congratulations. FYI that’s not the way to keep what’s left of your player base, playing this thing…

Agreed. The combination of low uptime, low memory drops, and expensive rewards is just god awful. I can understand this for content that is meant to last an entire season or even most of an xpac, but this is a limited time event: If I log in once a day to do an event, I won’t even have enough to buy just the mount, let alone anything else by the time the event goes away

It’s unplayable anyway.
The lag is downright ludicrous, it’d almost have me laugh had we not had such poor quality events for 2 years straight…

Ok so this is horrible… Waiting for 1.5 hours just to run in and smash stuff for 5 mins. Better set a timer.

So It’s safe to assume I am not the only one who hadn’t had the boss spawn at the time it should spawn right ?
Yeah, I just “did” Dragonflight too. Though I didn’t actually do anything, because it took 5 minutes to let me start flying. Then my mount just kept floating down because even though I was pressing buttons, they’d take so long to actually register that I’d lost all momentum. Absolute trash.

yep - there are some bugs - so it may turn out that one memory won’t be done and you will be like 5/6 and boss will not spawn. At this point we can only try again and wait for fix
Bad event is bad. They’re always bad, I knew that, but this one is somehow worse still. The unplayable lag was expected. The waiting for spawns that die so fast you’re lucky to get a tag in was expected. But now the memories are missing and the bosses don’t even spawn at all? Gotta wait 4,5 hours for another chance and pray it works then? Yeah no thanks.

You guys don t like the lag fest,the tidious grind,the bugged out memories and discusting looking enemies? You dont like that it has nothing to do with the next expansion? What is wrong with you?

So… does the Event bosses have a respawn time or is it strictly one per rotation? If it’s the latter that’d be beyond stupid.
Came in to an hour left for Dragonblight to kill the Lich King, but he’s not around. 
The emperor protects!

When an event starts there are five (or six?) memories that needs to be subdued. Once they are done the “main” boss will spawn. Its a one off, once it is killed the event is over.
This whole thing takes about 5 minutes 
Then we just go back to Dalaran and hurry up and wait for the next one after 1,5 hours…
That’s just obscene, he should be respawning every 5 minutes for those that missed it… expecting us to, currently, wait for an 1h30m for the next location is just ridiculous.
And this was planned with alts in mind?!
