I think tertiary stats(leech, avoidance, speed, indestructable) shouldn’t be a titanforge RNG thing anymore. Yes, give items a chance to drop with a tertiary stat but also let players buy an item from a vendor to add tertiary stats to their items. The cost could be something like Token of Merit from weekly vault. Or maybe we get a token from every mythic+ run completed(or a raid boss kill) and we could buy a tertiary stat thingie from a vendor for 50x of that token.
Any thoughts?

Imagine having speed on all of your items.
If they implement such a thing, I won’t even bother to socket the items and will go with a speed tertiary on every item.

Maybe i should make 10 resto druids and have 10 vaults per week. That would also help. Maybe Durgunseven gets some 489 avoidance or leech pieces in vault.
Btw, you’d need to complete 750 mythic plus runs to have speed on all of your items if you’d get a tertiary stat in every 50 run. 
That made me too happy. I want.

I just thoroughly enjoyed the idea of zooming about non stop. But I’ll go walk my (slow…) walk of shame now.
Tertiary stats have diminishing returns too. And while I’m not sure I think they hard cap at 50%.
Speed and Leech are both hard-caped with massive diminishing returns that have no breakpoints. So I doubt people would stack leech and speed.
Avoidance on the other hand, its a problem IMO. It gives such a massive survivability boost in high keys, and it scales so well that it creates some “unfair” situations IMO.
People that got lucky and got avoidance gear are just so much tankier, with permanent -15% DR on some very nasty boss mechanics.
The solution would be to tune those mechanics. But since that is not happening anytime soon in S3 then either Avoidance is nerfed for everyone or given via tokens to everyone.
Thats my opinion atleast.

Personally I think the game would be more interesting if stats like leech and speed were part of the secondary stat budget. Admittedly it will probably be a headache for Blizzard to balance.
Secondary stats directly impact your dps/hps output… tertiary doesn’t do that, at all… just some extra survivability. No one would bother having ‘those’ stats if they were a secondary.
Avoidance caps at 20% iirc, which is still massive ofcourse, but at least you cant stack it infinitely
