Testing Adding Damage Reduction to PvP

Well those are the andys that choosen the OP class because of burst dmg and dont know how to do anything else or actually how to play their class.

You dont die on bg from 2 dots mate,if you are pvp geared u have 6 k + hp.Ruining ALL pvp to try and fix WORLD pvp seems ridiculous.

Do you believe it is ruining pvp or ruining your personal preference of PvP?

Well, more useful I don’t know. In every encounter you need strong bursty frontline and heal on the back. Removing pala’s ability to burst is robbing alliance of their strong frontline. I’m loosing a lot more BG since yesterday than I used to because shaman enhance can still stick to their target, cc and do good damage whereas paladins get kited and dispelled to death.
Lucky for me I like to play heal from time to time but it sucks that I don’t feel like having the choice atm since ret out of the equation.
Just when I got me Chieftain’s Bane and 15 str enchant… Was looking forward to some seal twist omega burst.

I am doing ABs all the time now. It is really enjoyable. But if they want to keep it that way, they need to nerf healing as well. People are so used to easy mode one shot specs but when they realize how strong healers are now this would be tough to play.

So keep the change but tone down healing. A single paladin (the good paladin not delusional, you know who) managed to hole a whole team of 4 people in a node. GJ from him but still healing needs to be taken care of a bit.

The thing is YOU CANT burst opponent solo on BG because of the HP buff, yes peopel die pretty fast,but if its time to choose between “people die fast” and “noone dies at all” i dont want second retail here,i personally die in stunlock from rogue in world pvp,ye sounds sad, but on BG its another balance so i take it.World pvp is not the main thing of SOD, you shouldnt fix PVP according to world 1 v1 disbalance.You understand what im trying to say?

According to what i see on forums,yes, majority thinks this was bad idea.

Good change but reduction is too big for AB, once one captures flag it’s almost impossible to burst other faction to recap

I could be wrong but my personal view on the matter is that the complainers are failing to see this matter objectively.

Also checking the forum every now and then for the duration of classic has shown me that unfortunately at the forums complainers outnumber the constructive feedback givers.

I was thinking about 15% reduction for the start and then checkign the feedback,instead its just retail “undying” healers meta now,i hardly see how you can enjoy this kind of pvp if you are not healer.

A flat % reduction in damage across the board, sheesh what a crazy notion. Someone actually thought this was a good idea that might work?

I just want to say i LOVE this. Hope they make this permanent because its alot more fun on warrior now!

Remove bonus hp in battlegrounds asap

So now u just die in 2 2x dots and 2 x SW, i love how people say “NICE CHANGE BECAUSE I CAN NOW KILL THIS CLASS IN 1 V1” awesome that ur 1 v 1 experience got better but, world pvp 1 v1 fights are like 10% max of total pvp happening.Now go bg and enjoy 10 min middle fight with 10 kills in total during these 10 mins.

So what? Just because fight take longer, you preferred to die fast to specific specs?

Completely killed bgs with this sure super fun to hardcast for 3 sec to hit for nothing and almost going oom to get a single kill… maybe start with a 25% reduction and not 50% but keep pushing more stuff like this so noobs can live longer based of 0 skill

it is the exact opposite. Noobs now have to manage their mana and cannot kill with 2 casts
