it’s funny how ppl play hardcore as alliance durning Classic, now a lot switch horde on TBC, and i guess all go back ally on WoTLK.
What weed do you smoke? The hardcore PvPers went horde in classic.
Thank you Blizzard for this update, i’m having the time of my life. The expansion is 10/10 now with this change. We are finally able to play BGs without suffering, getting bored in hours of ques.

F this… Im ally and have been trying to get a premade togheter for 8 hours to face all these horde premades… and no1 wants to go bg. I quit.
Keep xfac bgs, but limit the amount of players that can queue at the same time to 5 people so its not a premadefest

Yeah facing a premade is pretty boring, won a few bad ones though but overall very little chance. Another alternative would be to design it in a way that a premade would easier be matched with another premade and only vs pugs if there’s nothing else on the menu.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents.
These masks and tabards, i find this so incredibly childish! That’s the first thing that puts me off and mostly because you won’t implement real mercenary mode so “the other team” changes into alliance chars. (correct me if i’m wrong)
This is THE BIGGEST downer of your whole post!! I’m going to be a little selfish here, i kind of only like AV! So if i were to queue for AV, then i’ll be facing 2 to 3 hours queue times now?
I hate WsG, i don’t like AB much and the new bg that came with TBC just meh.
It’s not the first time that you’ve tried to solve a huge problem with a really awkward solution, now ur doing it again! Just implement mercenary mode like it’s working in retail.
(plz correct me if i’m wrong when i have a completely wrong view on merc mode as i haven’t used it at all in retail)
Glad that these queue time problems are being handled by Blizzard but not how.
I understand the reasoning behind it and ofcourse horde shouldnt have to wait 1 hour for ques but now there is absolutely no reason to ever play alliance over horde. If you’re going to ruin the only advantage ally had in pvp you can atleast increase the honor allys get in bgs to compensate. Sitting with 20% win rate was acceptable when you know horde have to wait longer for ques.
When talking from a honor/day perspective insted of games played this change is nowhere near acceptable if there are no extra benefits given to alliance.
Those 99% winrate avs were fun werent they

And lets remind that WOTLK has Wintergrasp, one of the best BGs of WOW history imho. Its going to be wiped off, also AV is going to be 3-5 hrs que. Good luck with these.
this is a joke, I am not “nochanges” but this goes against the spirit of the game so much.

That’s not what it’s about for me.
At the start of AV it was like 50 - 50 cause Alliance tried to play the rush game every single time and enough horde players didn’t know how to counter that.
Once we adapted it was nice but i like a good fight with a lot of ppl, AV provides that no matter the outcome.
Worst during Wotlk Wintergrap is an open world content. With the initial implementation, you can forget it with imbalanced servers.
I guess their solution will be to transform it as an instanced bg like retail. “Classic” solution.
plz Blizzard, i beg you revert the change, getting graveyard camped by alliance once an hour was okish, now we get graveyard camped at least 5 times an hour.
Why are you punishing us like this? at least i had fun in my hour que. You destroyed any fun you can have as an single player queing for bg’s 
For the first time since release i just quit the game after an hour of graveyard camping (if you want people 2 stop playing this game you are actually on 2 something with this change) anyways thanks for ruining the last fun there was in this game, guess i am now really forced to camp low level alliance to get some honor
clearly you are an ally who wants to try and manipulate from a wrong perspective, in 8 hours of ally pre, i got 14 marks and 7 hk, in 4h of same faction, i got 134 hk and 28 marks, 1/2 the time, for more honour,
This change is amazing, horde can finally make a premade and its same footing as alliance, tyvm blizz for giving horde something to balance out the SoB for ally pala, really good work, i can pvp enjoy the game and have fun, tyvm.

First of all i am not Allaince (why would you even think that???) secondly you clearly explain the problem we are facing, the premades. Losing over and over and over again vs premades is no fun. Blizzard made this problem worse with faster ques so thats why i am asking, as a horde player, 2 revert this change.
Apparently many people are shortsighted and can’t grasp this part. Vanilla / TBC and WoTlK were focused (for the most part) on the conflict between faction, people don’t care about that at all.

So what you are saying is that there is barely any PvP going on in BGs? Good thing this change was made for all those people who “only play the game for PvP”.
