people premade cuz they want the gear faster, premade vs premade is for wargames and Rated Bg’s.
you can, make honor grind faster, so you meet less premade,
you could go back to the old system without this, cuz horde are now doing premades cuz no que times.

We got almost NONE of that.

  1. No progressive patches
  2. P2 that was much, much shorter
  3. Playing on “latest” version of patch with itemization that does not match it
  4. LVL58 boosts that completely messed up everything, from farming (hello bots) to faction balance (hello alliance rerollers and retail players)
  5. Layers
  6. Playing with patch 2.4+ honor gains in S1 in TBC

List could go on and on and on. Long story short, classic wow is and will never be able to replicate old vanilla/tbc, it’s just how it is. Get used to it or stop playing.

But he is right and you are wrong - when the horde population increases (or the alliance population decreses) the absolute number of horde players (compared to alliance ones) in the open world also increases. Thus the likelihood to get f*cked on a horde dominated server also increases. And its not a pvper only thing to kill the alliance at port stones. So no it is not something alliance is benefiting from.

I dunno what activision was even thinking here.
They did the right thing before and looked to pservers for experience on how to run a modern classic or TBC server, but then completely jumped the shark on this one.
There is a reason why pservers found out that they had to buff the alliance (with the tools you described) when faction balance went bad, and not the horde.
Buffing the horde is the completely wrong approach, and just guts the alliance outright.
And I fear that the damage is already caused in this case, perhaps even beyond repair.

It’s amazing, it just allows players to play.

If you remove it, you will loose half of you horde players, including me.

There is no philosophy to have. This change was needed from far. Horde guilds where diying of peoples leaving the game because they where not able to PVP.

Wait 2 hours for a battleground, is way more than any other existing game.

Best possible PvP change to the current game.

The horde have not got the memeo that they should stop gank alliance in the open world.

Why should it be?

They can do a lot of things that is not as harmfulla s this change was.

Then the game would be more balanced? Now they will lose all the alliance players

You mean this temporary change?

Also what other things? Free faction changes are not the solution either.

Definately a better solution that doesn’t affect faction balance negatively.

People just don’t understand, players won’t change faction just to get a better queue, once people understand this then we can pursue other solutions.

Yea you tell your self it is a temp change.

If they wont change faction for a shorter queue then the queue issue isn’t that big of a deal after all, so why bother “fixing” it at all?

I agree. If you pick a “faction based” game to play and one of the two factions not existing is not a good enough reason for you to switch…then obviously you never wanted to play a “faction based” game in the first place.
