The horde overpopulation wasnt so massive in classic, it got alot wors in tbc, dont pretend

First of all its 8% difference, second of all those are not all player, only active raiders, third of all, balancing racials might be a good start

I play alliance, and it was only because of BG queues

In TBC Patch 2.1 added the following:
- The new battleground matchmaking system is now implemented and active. This system allows the battleground to select teams of similar equipment quality and organizational level to battle each other. For now, the system will be very forgiving about creating matchups in order to keep queue times low. However, the parameters will be adjusted as necessary when more organized teams become active in the battlegrounds.
in Patch 2.4 it added:
- Battleground matchmaking for premades has been tightened, so it is more likely that a premade will meet a group with similar gear. This can result in longer queue times for premades.
Why isn’t this implemented already? It is not fun to get faced up against a team of 10/15 people on discord completely sh*tting on your team.

Hes using warcraft logs as a metric on PvP server pops. 
Please add faction change now so I can change my alliance char to horde. No reason to play alliance at all now.

No its not. This change literally does not affect alliance in any negative way whatsoever.
Catering to the whiners instead of fixing things is what made Retail into such a losing game that Blizzard was forced to release Classic. I see that some ppl really don’t learn from their mistakes.

How can Blizzard fix a population imbalance? and since this only affects BGs queues, it seems like the solution is the lesser of the evils to fix it.

introduce free transfer from horde to alliance till it balances and stop this . And no, selling faction change for $$ is not what we want. this is my last month if that goes live , i started again to play classic and tbc not retail .

I guess there will always be private servers for those who wanted to enjoy the vintage experience.
I really hope you keep this change, and if possible make the system try to do more premade vs premade

I for one actually consider transfering to alliance.(When option arises) I played Human Priest during TBC, but now i wanted a undead warlock… But i dont really see many alliance out in the world so changing faction means more potential ganking or BE GANKED. This is the way. I aint playing this game to sit in town waiting for raids or BGs all day.
RIP alliance.
Looking forward to seeing paid faction change, then most of what’s left of alliance will transfer and we can finally get 90-100% horde population until wotlk.

Would really like the option to faction chance, I don’t see a reason to play Alliance on my server with this change.
Only boosted Alliance for faster queues 
Multiple of my BG buddies already talking about going Horde, but I can’t be bothered starting new character… Rather just play FF14 then.

my advice to stop this is : alliance completely boykott the bgs 100% till the 7th.
btw whats next? tanks are rare, so maybe tank abilities to everyone so dungeons can happen ?

this wont change much befor 15-30 bg´s of each type open now 200 around of each type. They did boykott it already befor the change the Population does never expain how horde can fill BOTH sides of all this other bg´s otherwise
