pls anounce soon a permanent implementation of HvH. im sure you know, many hordes will desub and quit WoW forever + classic tokens are datamined (another reason to quit). alliance wont desub since HvH wont affect them directly. pls be smart, u will lose more subs if u dont implement it.
Doubt tokens will make anyone quit. You can already do what tokens do by trading gold from Classic to retail. Classic token will only make this process safer for the people doing it.
As someone who has played a lot of EvE Online, tokens would not bother me either.

This stopped being Classic when they announced the store mount and level boost for TBC. There was a blue post back in Classic saying something along the likes of ‘Level boosts do not belong in WoW Classic. We don’t want to break any hearts.’ Well guess what they lied, and we now have that crap in TBC Classic. And fyi, if a WoW token in Classic is the last straw for you, let me inform you that right now you can purchase a WoW token in retail, then put it up on the AH there and get gold for it, then you can trade that gold with someone in Classic and you’ve now done what a token in Classic would enable you to do, albeit with a few steps in-between. People overreacting to the token in Classic are just looking for another reason to express their anger towards the state of the game and company.
Well the thing is, the majority of people who play classic don’t want anything to do with retail and so don’t play it. If the token comes to classic then it will increase their market and ultimately ruin any shred of integrity they have left regarding classic.
Can we test game without boost , speacial tiers of game , fresh from 1 , with enough gms to ban bots and gold buyers and sellers , yea , would love to test that game .

You don’t have to play it! You can literally just install retail, make a level 1, purchase a WoW token, then do that whole process that I described. This integrity that you speak of is long gone fyi. Or have you been living under a rock and haven’t been aware that Classic has been infested with bots for years? On top of that we now have literal level boosts which were promised to not appear in Classic yet here we are.
I think the token would be just the last step where people would give up, it kinda feels like it
You make it sound like I am defending blizzard. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s like they dug up classic from its golden tomb and took a steaming sh!t inside. Seriously considering going to darrowshire.
I felt like that about the level boost, store mount and lack of a single fresh server when TBC launched. Man did I feel betrayed. We were lied to, and we’re being milked for short term revenue at the cost of the game’s integrity. It sucks. But about the token, I think people don’t understand that they can already P2W their way in this game. It’s just a little more convoluted since it has to be done by trading with people between the two games.

It’s not too late to level a horde PvP alt, actually we are just 6 weeks into the expansion and there will be plenty of time left to enjoy that sweet 50/50 winratio.
Thinking of an UD warrior atm, on Mirage. It will depend whether HVH really becomes a thing.

There is no reason to be alliance now. Many alliance players selected the alliance faction having in mind the bg que time. Now you favor the horde in every way. You changed the rules of the game so you have to let me change my faction if I want (and most alliance will want).

Ofc many alliance players will quit. They are also affected. They are the minority in terms of population, harder to level up and many of them selected the alliance faction and not the better horde’s racial for the shorter bg ques. Everyone knew hordes are easier to level, they have better racial but they also have longer bg ques. We choose our faction with this knowledge.
And now they want to change basic game rules and call many alliance players idiots

Sad crybaby Alli wishing for people to quit the game xD That’s just sad and pathetic. Not Horde Chads fault that Alliance suxx hard at PVP (and PVE).
