I see a lot of hatred on the forum on the new patch, but in game its quite the opposite.
Everywhere I go these past two days people talk about how good it was that we got the Might of Stormwind buff.
These forum keyboard warriors here got nothing better to do then to complain.

I’m a top tier raider with 7 characters all in different discord communities and do daily 20 man raids as well, I never heard a single complaint about the new patch.

There are no top tier raiders in Classic raid content nowadays. There have been in Vanilla back in 2004 through 2006, in TBC from 2007 until 2009 and in LK from late 2008 until 2010.
So what you are telling us is, that basically you’re part of the parsing and rushers crowd. That’s your bubble. Fine by me. But none of you need this stuff for raiding, you’re crashing through everything anyway. All it does is pushing your numbers sideways.
The only one who’d truly profit from these buffs is the average dude who struggles with his performance.

Remove all world buffs and accept that not every Mr Average will kill all end bosses. This would make for a better game. And wouldn’t change your game one single bit. Bar you taking a couple of minutes longer every ID before you log out. Most likely would be compensated anyway by not having to fetch the buffs…
It saves a lot of time and money having this buff on our side, that’s my only concern. I’m not forced to have 2 subscriptions now and I get additional time I can spend otherwise productively instead of waiting in barrens for possible being griefed by some low life. I don’t get it why you guys make such a big deal out of it like it’s the end of Era. It’s just a world buff we already had, but more convenient. People like you make me sick.
That’s the difference between the two of us.
I actually do get it, why this is important for you. And I might even sympathize.
We all coexist in this game. Getting other players motivation improves everyone’s gaming experience.
But there are more things than just performance in a game.
Blizzard is going back on their promise to keep Era alive. There are limits, number of changes, or certain types of changes, where players may no longer consider this game to be Era. Obviously these limits may vary. Everyone is different.
The other problem is the way Blizzard is handling this. By chance you just happen to be on the lucky side in this particular change.
I get your argument too, but times are changing and the majority of the player base currently playing and raiding on Alliance (In my experience, the GDKP community.) everyone has welcomed this with open arms.

The fact is that Alliance shouldn’t even have access to this wbuff to begin with. Yes, not even by mindcontrolling Horde characters. It was a wbuff unique for Horde to balance the faction. That’s it. Make this change and you will never have to think about getting it to begin with, saving you a lot of time.

when shamans are given lava burst, dual wield, maelstrom weapon and become the monsters they are on SOD, you have now lost your right to complain, because if they can change A then they can certainly change B and you, yourself, have just given them the excuse they needed by endorsing these initial changes instead of protesting them.
this is why it is important to protest any and all changes to era.
but then again, its common for idiots like OP to have absolutely 0 points in the “foresight” stat.
when the threads about further changes that you do not like start rolling in and some of them get implemented into the game, remember that you advocated for changes yourself.

And FYI I’ll welcome any changes that makes classic better and more efficient for the player. There are a lot of quality of life improvements that can me made, though I don’t need it, I would not protest if they got implemented.
As a Veteran Protection Paladin Player who play since 2005 as Protection Paladin.
This is pure Paladin Tank Buff, hence it gives faster SoR swings for more Aggro or Mana by JoW, it gives extra Health and Mp5 Which is key for Paladin Tank.
I don’t approve and i disagree with this Buff given to Alliance, because it changes the Game as i enjoyed to play which brings more Challenges and more Adventure.
Please remove the Buff and reverse to Original Classic.

Why you people feel the need to come here and change era is beyond me. We’ve been down this road before, it’s why we came back to era in the first place.
No I like Classic, just they should have added these changes when it came out couple years back. Better late then never!
