The Archivists’ Codex rank 5 - Why does it even exist?
As if getting rep there wasn’t painfully (boring) enough already, the only thing you can buy at rank 5, besides the mandatory Research Report, is that useless 25 anima Treatise. You can’t even upgrade items to rank 5 with rank 5 rep.
I bet Blizzard realised how fast people could be getting rank 5 items and made them require rang 6 reputation… without adding anything worth of value to rank 5.
First 5 ranks legit doesn’t reward anything usefull not only r5… First ranks only exist to make you farm more and unlock more ways to farm.
It is there to farm till your eyes bleed. Its MAU, nothing else. Blizz spitting on the playerbase, but we can’t spit back cos it is going removed 
That reputation is the synthesis of what’s wrong in the post legion wow.
the whole archivist codex doesn’t make any sense, you are already timegated by research, why lock content behind rep as well?
Every bit helps when you’re trying to keep people subbed until 9.2 in a year.
The thing I hate the most about this reputation is the fact that if you and me start a character at the exact same time and only do Korthia together, we won’t hit t6 rep at the same time.
They want to keep you subbed as long as possible. I agree that it is an unncessary long grind that is insanity and should not even be in the game.
What? No way. Blizzard added a bad system you have to grind for 0 value? Shocked.
what is exackly wrong ? you want 233 for free just because you kill few rares couple of times ?
want that gear ? farm rep .
want it faster ? do +14s and normal raids.
And what u actaully will do with that amazing 233 ilvl, push 20+ keys? Invited in myth raid? This gear is trash. Another guy with Stockholm syndrome…
I haven’t gotten research as reward for dailies in over 2 weeks. But on my alt I get it every day.
It’s not aboot gear.
It’s aboot the fact that reputation is being both timegated and unrewarding while also not having some sort of catch up. And I’m not even mentionning the way of farming that reputation is just plain boring, ie there is no fun in camping rares and treasures.
And don’t get me started aboot the fact that reputation is useless prior reaching Tier 6.

Considering how maybe 5 percent of playerbase does them at all ? Yes its very relevant content
I think its trash content. 10% of playerabase even did raid. Does it do it relevant? People leaving this game, there is mostly altoholics-casuals here.
Then why do you care those casuals get 233 gear? They are not in your keys and raid anyway.
Speaking about trash content. The codex rep grind is trash.
Why not, why not allow people get 233? Its trash anyway. Same for PvP why people must suffer in undergear? Alts get smashed coz no gear.
