Exploits are wrong no matter who is doing them. The Russian battle group is doing it on mass. I have not seen ONE av with them without the use of that exploit. And we are talking about the Russian battle group in this thread. So what is the purpose of that comment or do you just have to say something? Your post is pointless.

Not all swedes use those letters in their names tho, only few I think. I’m norwegian myself and all norwegians I know ingame have english names. With russians and russian letters in their WoW names, most of us know that’s a completely different story.

The best would be just to do russians vs russians. Or need addon what translates nicknames or addon what marks in raid profiles 1.2.3.4 … and call them by numbers.

The WoW client should write it as romanized versions of the cyrillic alphabet to begin with.
But crossrealm matchmaking shouldn’t be a thing in the first place. Vanilla didn’t have xrealm matchmaking until the very last few months of vanilla, so they should’ve gone with what most of vanilla had. Because xrealm killed the vanilla stories of friendships and rivalries.
You wouldn’t see rivalries being formed again until the arena seasons started in burning crusade, and people having recurring encounters somewhat regularly on the highest ratings.
The mere-exposure effect and the proximity principle are completely overlooked in xrealm matchmaking, and it just becomes a breeding ground for social toxicity.
