The Baine love thread

You forgot why Azshara made the deal in the first place
One day, the queen was approached by her most trusted advisor, Counselor Xavius, with an idea of using the power of the Well of Eternity to cleanse the world, and make it perfect in her eyes.
When her Highborne made contact with the Dark Titan Sargeras and his Burning Legion, Xavius helped the queen communicate with Sargeras, whom she told of her desire to cleanse the world of the lesser race
She accepted his offer to cleanse her world of the impure, of the inferior races.
Azshara knew that a few her peoples’ deaths were necessary so she could be the matriarch of a new perfect world that would be shaped after her own vision
You can’t make an omelette without ruthlessly crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning to others.

And that’s supposed to make me somewhat hate her less? That just proves that she is arrogant and selfish and doesn’t even care for her own people.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few
A few dies, so the Kaldorei could rule a perfect world
 without Trolls and such
But she wanted Sargeras as a mate and co-ruler, so aimed for the whole universe, actually
Ambition is a good thing to have

That is not the destiny of our people, we found our true purpose with Cenarius wich is to defend nature and Kalimdor from those who would try to harm it, were were destined to destroy the Legion not join it.

Old Gods bonded with the world so deep, removing one of them wounded the planet
 their minions everywhere
Pieces torn out the world itself, from the crust ancient monstorsities travelling the stars made constructs, “Titan-Forged” keepers and sentinels
and their flesh-cursed spawns formed their own empires and kingdoms, like the gnomes, humans and dwarves

Lesser and inferior races everywhere

Our planet was sick, ruined and infected

Would it have been such a loss to cleanse it, remake it in her own desigin, haped after her own vision?
Or sacrifice an infested doomed world to rule over thousands
?
But I guess turning away your birthright and destiny, hiding behind magical
sorry totally natural mist, hiding what remained of Kalimdor was good too

10.000 years ago im sure we already had plenty enough power and there was no other rival as strong as us, what the Highborne wanted was more power, it was an addiction they had, an addiction so strong that they would trade their own world for it.

I for one will be offering up a toast to malfurion’s dead body finally the old fool is dead if only Lord Illidan was around to see it

Illidan might have had his grudges with Malfurion but he clearly still loved his brother and you can see it in his final message.

There is no such thing as “enough power” Brother!

The troublesome Trolls were tehere!
Don’t forget it was Azshara who twisted their arm, and in her benevolence, let them keep their little mountain with their loa. Peace was there, but it was fragile

And then there was the Pandaren “empire”, those barbaric Yaungol
Old God servants hiding left and right

And the despicable constructs
you love nature Brother, how possibly could consider those aberrations made out stone and metal were anything but unnatural?

You can’t have enough
if the druid would had more power for example, maybe the Wolrd Tree wouldn’t be a smoldering husk now

Yes yes
but what world? An infested and doomed one! If you have a rotting tree what will you do? Cut it down and plant a new one! Like Vordrassil
good job with the World Trees by the way
Good job

Are you trying to mock me?

AFAIK the only mocking around here is your mocking of Baine.

Baine deserves to be mocked since he is a useless traitor.

For me Baine is the future.

Gameplay and lore go hands together with each other.
The game has been losing players constantly. When I started playing we had 10 millions of players around the world and separate servers. There was no cross realm and killing the same NPCs outdoors with the players from the opposite faction helping out was unthinkable.

Today even thought I play on a dead realm, I’ve seen multiple players from other realms constantly and more Alliance players than Horde. We killed the same quest mobs (!) and rare NPCs. It was a win win situation for both faction players.

BFA introduced War mode, but I believe that was more of a relief to the people that wanted to turn off the PVP on the PVP realms (imbalanced factions) than the number of people from PVE realm that were attracted to PVP mode.

To survive. Alliance and Horde will have to quit their differences in this game and play together in order for the Mithic and Raid content to be sustainable.
The irony here is that both factions already do that in the lore in order for Azeroth to survive.

There’s plenty of room for rivalries in battlegrounds/War mode, based on side stories that don’t necessary affect the main narrative.

I personally hate conflict as historically brought nothing but shame and disgrace to the Horde every time. BFA was by far the worst iteration of faction conflict and I don’t wish to go through another expansion like that.

Cheers.
