The Child of Light and Shadow?

So Illidan make it clear that he’s not … You can ask Xe’ra if you want… Oh wait … she’s not in position to talk anymore…
So there are two possible candidates…
Arator
Tyrande
And maybe someone else… ?

Just ask AU Xe’ra then. I am sure that the Mag’har would be glad to have the chance to have a conversation with such a “wonderful” chandelier.

So there are two possible candidates…
Arator
Tyrande
And maybe someone else… ?

Anduin, who can wield both the Light and the Shadow (as can be seen in his official artwork or in Mists of Pandaria, when he mind-controlled that dwarf minion).

What, but Illidan of Light and Shadow. Demons are chaotic Childs of Light & Shadow…

what are you smoking? Illidan has had zero to do with the Light. It was only Xe’ra that got an hard-on for him, and his Demon Hunters, anyways.

I suppose Arator and Anduin make the most sense. I hate Anduin with a passion, but as it stands now he is most likely the “Child of Light and Shadow” since Blizzard seem intent on shoving him down the throat of both the Horde and Alliance.

Arator is a Paladin in every sense of the word, so I doubt he can or wants to become the Child of Light and Shadow…

Talking about Arator, can he actually still touch his mom? He isn’t exactly Lightforged, but being a Paladin infuses one with the Light to, right?

What are demons for you?

As the universe formed, the most chaotic energies unleashed by the clash between [Light] and [Void] coalesced into an astral dimension known as the [Twisting Nether]. Light and Void bled together at the borders of this realm, throwing it into turmoil with chaotic magics.[[8]] Life would arise in the Twisting Nether too in the form of the first demons, born as a result of this clash between the two energies.

But the Prophecy states that the Child of Light and Shadow shall end the age of Demons.

So… the Demons will end the age of Demons?

That’s what Xera said:

Xe’ra says: I am here now on a mission of desperation. I seek the child of Light and Shadow: the boy destined to end the age of demons.

Xe’ra says: The one called [Illidan Stormrage].

The question is: What she meaned with “end”? She doesn’t said kill or destroy.

Med’an is the Child of Light and Shadow.

It was Garithos. With his death, the thread of prophecy was severed. Now we have to persist in this doomed world.

And why would the Demons seek to “end” the age of Demons?

Let’s be real, “End” means “End”. There is no deeper meaning.

It was Garithos. With his death, the thread of prophecy was severed. Now we have to persist in this doomed world.

The way of a coward. Though Garithos is gone, his followers remain. And we must do our duty and maintain his legacy in the dark world. There is pride in that.

End of what? I can also end many thing you know :stuck_out_tongue:

Read “Illidan”. There was only he in her prophecy.

Don’t you ever dare name that thing ever again in this thread! D:<

Med’an looks you straight in the eyes and says “It’s all canon now.”
Med’an leaves through your window
Med’an is love. Med’an is life.

Well according to the origin of the multiverse and nature of the twisting nether light+shadow=massive explosion+fel

Assuming it’S the raw stuff of course. When it’s Aleria dn Turalyon they get thrown across the room, when they even slightly toutch… that may have been retconed since then

There is no chosen one, it was said by Illidan himself. The child of Light and Shadow is an invention.

His is the song of Light and Shadow…

duh duh duh dun dun dun duh DUUUUH DUUHHHN~

Illidan was the child of Light and Shadow. He simply rejected that position.

Yeah, he made that really obvious when he blew X’era.

I think Illidan was that child (?).

He isn’t now…

I think the whole Legion storyline told us that prophecys are not always going to come out as they are being told. There can be false prophecys so it is very possible that there is no child of light and shadow.

Maybe the Void have a different opinion who the Child of Light and Shadow is…
