What is with all this flying, chasing etc. I dont want to play flight simulator.
The oculus wants to have a word with you.
Yep.
I’ll do it on some decentish key level and then I’ll just reroll it if I get it.
at least you didnt have to run M+ on it, or it at all.
It’s certainly the most complained about on the forums.
I’m no fan, myself.
Look. I am sorry that I threw you off the ship. It was an…uhm… accident!
I know the first time there, it was extremely confusing.
But once you know what you’re doing it’s super simple and very quick compared to other dungeons. It’s just the 2nd boss, where some people will fly off to their own location for 1 of the 3 minibosses, thus pulling mobs and causing a wipe, when the tank/healer is at another location.
In this dungeon, communication is the key role.
You can even kill the 2nd boss without needing to kill the 3 minibosses, as long as that boss is in a location, which won’t cause a mass pull of other trash. And then you have to hope the other players know to not allow that orb to hit a wall near you, which causes the explosion and a ton of group wide damage.
I’m not personally looking forward to this dungeon in a high key, but as long as you have a decent team, it shouldn’t be a problem. But PUG key groups are going to struggle with this one, if no one is taking the lead.
I want a BRD m+ in 2-3 parts
L2p issues, stop being bad. Nothing to see here folks.
Doesn’t mean it’s bad. Usually the opposite
Or just one with a 3 hour timer
It’s funny how easily people complain once they have to think for a few minutes outside of their “gameplay loop”-box.
The dungeon isn’t hard. It just needs practice.
But actually learning new things in a game you’ve been playing for years? Oh, god beware. How dare life challenging you a bit once in a while?
I can’t quite see how you can say that. A dungeon that is considered bad by many and is complained about, somehow makes it good?
I think some of the criticism is warranted. If you compare it to the previous flying dungeon it was very clear on the map where you had to go. The tricky bit being getting to the last boss initially until people learnt to fly low and shoot up to get on the cliff edge.
At present it a baptism of fire the entire fight. There is very little indication of where to go or what to do.
In time people will get used to what to do but that doesn’t mean that it will necessarily ever be a good dungeon. Disliked dungeons are usually disliked for a reason. Like the Occulus or Violet Hold.
A lot of the time forum criticism is over blown over a relatively minor issue. I can see what people dislike about dawnbreaker doesn’t meant I personally agree
It can be your favourite, that’s fine but much of the criticism is valid. Being complained about does not equal good. It may be that it’s not as bad as some people think but that still does not make it automatically good.
Every dungeon I have hated I have never changed my mind about. However it may be that a dungeon I like others do not. That is something completely different though.
Challenge to mount up, fly a little bit and land again?
Its boring and weird. Thats the Problem i guess.
Personally i dont mind that much. But i understand the hate, because i hated Nokud or however it was called.
Nobody needs flying in dungeons or raids.
Preach!
Oculus, nokhud, and dawnbreaker all have the same “problem” in the eyes of many.
That being you have to do something other than spamming your DPS rotation until the dungeon is over.
That in and of itself doesn´t make the content /dungeon “bad”, rather it only serves as further proof that people don´t actually want “challenging” or “innovative” content despite their statements to the contrary. All they really want is to get on their ez-loot treadmill and get epics when they get off.
Tindral was also almost universaly maligned among the plebs, even in lfr where there are not even any fire orbs to cause problems, simply because people can´t be arsed to dragonride in a straight line… So they bathed themselves in hyperbole by reducing their asessment of the entire fight down to the 2x15-20 second dragonriding phases and refused to even try to get over it.
Flying is not hard…
You dont get it that people just dont WANT to flight in dungeons and raids…
Has nothing to do with “Skill” or “Git Gud”
Oh, trust me, I understand it just fine.
I just think it´s generally a BS reason that most use to mask their real sentiments, which can usually be summed up as “I don´t want to do anything but play artillery turret and loot, how dare you make me do something other than my dps rotation?”
I wonder… How many of the people complaining about the flying on nokhud or DB are the same ones that don´t move with the poison wave but just let it spawn in teh middle of where teh group was standing… I get a feeling a venn diagram of the two would just be a single circle with a slightly thicker outline…
