The Deep Plot

Is it really any shock that OP is a Murkblood Avenger set enjoyer?

Bro’s gotta wipe the coom off his keyboard every time he comes back to pretend he ain’t mad.

0/10. Misleading title. Was expecting big drama reveals, all I got was bland fingerposting. Come back when you’ve solved fnaf.

I’m glad the forums aren’t into witch hunts anymore.

Then again, OP does strike me as a sad person. Their toxicity aside, I hope they’ll be able to move past whatever bad place they’re in atm, and move onward with their life, because quite frankly it’s a bit sad.

Also Vixi you don’t have to defend from their accusations, there’s no substance. They just want to make you feel more miserable - it’s a bait!

A part of me would really enjoy an area like Duskwood I think. It feels like that kind of region which is no man’s land, with little laws and a lot of room to develop this or that character, from anti-hero to villain, or even a hero interested in improving a dark place.

The other upside is the fact that there are people there, which translates to: I can find RP without having to organize it/join a pre-planned event, which often can be a little problematic when you work. I would be interested in meeting people there I can befriend, etc!

But I went there once with a normal warrior and found a mind controlled titan construct which was sacking Darkshire for… reasons, led by a k’thir and a twilight dragon. I was like, NOPE.

One of Imperial Flame’s first events was hunting down a Dark Iron traitor in Duskwood - guy was caught and portrayed by a guild member’s secondary account, and I’m not joking when I say 3 Worgen, Void Elf and Dracthyr Watchmen attempted to stop us from bringing him back to Shadowforge.

It was a bit tongue in cheek but still threw me off the track a little. Needless to say we just waded through 'em as they called for backup with buzzboxes.

jfc still going with the “you must all erp” haha

I feel like Duskwood has a lot of great, natural enemies for people to face. Both necromancers, liches and other undead are native, along with feral worgen, ogres and some degree of cultists. There’s also troll raiding parties from Stranglethorn, defias from Westfall, gnolls, kobolds and murlocs from Elwynn, and admittedly the dark riders from Kharazan. There’s so many cool and fun threats for villain RPers to take into Duskwood, if they want. There’s just one problem:

The heroes.

Your average defias thug will be vaporised faster than the guy in the Dr Manhattan ligma balls clip when confronted by the average Night’s Watch roleplayer. Now, whilst the Night’s Watch are said to be stronger than your average footman, I’m fairly certain they’re not an assortment of dragons, archmages, ranger-captains and gnolls. This issue extends beyond just the Night’s Watch too, almost every hero, anti-hero or otherwise in Duskwood are of a crazy power level. And whilst I myself think an ogre or a pack of gnolls would still pose a problem to an elf with a revolver, the general opinion amongst the revolver elves tend to differ.

The result is an evergrowing arms race between villains wanting to survive for more than five minutes, and heroes wanting to effortlessly save the day, meaning you end up with giant titan constructs, twilight dragons and k’thir randomly roaming the light-forsaken backwater of Stormwind.

Drama ain’t the same no more, ain’t no teeth to it. Probably for the best, really as much as my :toilet: entertainment suffers.

Good drama brings the community together. Never have I seen AD more united than with the Blood of Lordaeron event

What the hell is going on here.

I remember most of them.

The Hrothgate.
Red August.
Horsegate.
All the Bayerleyn threads (too many to count).
Stormbinder executing Nymi with the leaks on the forums.
Maarod (the fall, the rise, the musk)
Wailing Musk Caverns (NE edition)
Anti-ERP and the subsequent anti-IDIOT action
Silverpain 1 and 2
Drums of War (which got very eugh very fast)

Those are just from the top of my head.

Never did anything wrong in his entire life. The coolest, swolest, smartest elf to ever elf. :muscle::elf:

Anyway, as an aside to the best character in Tolkien’s legendarium: it is extremely funny that the OP thought they’d be lauded for stalking another player, cataloguing their in-game behaviour, and “exposing” it to the forums however long later. Their subsequent tantrum over that not being the case is peak.
