The desolate host is still bugged

Blizzard come on guys. Today I felt like soloing heroric ToS for some transmog, I’ve been reluctant to do it as the desolate host kept despawning. But today I thought NO I’m gonna do it so in to ToS I went and I cleared it. Great, I thought. They’ve fixed the despawn bug, so I jumped on to my Demon Hunter and tried to redo it all on her. Cleared all previous bosses only had the desolate host left I got it to about 25% then it despawned and I could not finish the raid. I tried entering and exiting the raid I tried dieing I reset instances (I know it wouldn’t work but I was desperate) and NOTHING.

Come on blizz it’s been years now please FIX this it’s so frustrating.

How are you getting it to despawn? I’ve cleared it both on HC and Normal this reset without issues

I did ToS HC twice this week, no issues.

Maybe you’re going to ham on the DPS? tone it back a bit?

Bugs are not dealt with by CS, CS do no pass on bugs either.

Bugs are reported in game.

To report a bug in-game:

Modern World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade Classic

  1. Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
  2. Click Support.
  3. Click Submit feedback or bug report.
  4. Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
  5. Click Submit.

They do answer sometimes:

It gives players something while waiting ages for a ticket reply… and sometimes others can share what worked for them.

That does not make it the correct place to report bugs.

Nine times out of ten you will be told how to fill in a bug report.

When someone encounters a bug it’s best to google, there are often fixes suggested by others.

As you can see the answer is to report bugs in game.

There are other threads in support where they have replied with a solution. Stop being so picky… it’s called support for a reason.

I’m not the one being picky. I’m just advising correctly.

It is lovely if a blue happens to know the answer to a particular issue but that still doesn’t make this the right place for bug reports. :slight_smile:

My point still stands. Some issues can be resolved there.

Do you think that’s the problem? I’m just doing too much damage too fast?.

I’d be ashamed if I had to anwser this way had I be a blue. Copy-paste, go away annoying customer approach. Shockingly bad!

Do you routinely answer questions you don’t know the answer to or do you send the person to the correct place to get their issue dealt with?

or alternately;

As a person who is trying to recreate a bug in order to fix it would you rather have a third hand report from someone who wasn’t there or a first hand account from the person the bug happened to?

What is the point of blues then? Even with tickets the anwser usually is: check wowhead lol
