They tried to bring those back with the tarren mill vs southshore but ehh let’s just say that didn’t go wel lol or does anyone actually enjoy that mode?
That was so laggy.
Just wasn’t the same, unfortunately. There was something special about it being organised by people from both factions and not being a queued instance. The fact it was brand new as well gave it that extra excitement as well.
Pretty true to the original then.
There’s no freedom of speech on private property.
Please respect the rules and do not attack other posters.
Far as I’m aware MVPs are just players that were selected because they were extra helpful back when the MVP system was still a thing :'). Don’t just bash random players like yourself just because. They’re people and they certainly don’t deserve this.
you can still be evil as a forsaken and eat the corpses of the ppl you killed. And that’s about it really.
I wonder if they’ll remove that at some point, too.
I’m sure everyone respects freedom of speech. But the forums are owned by blizzard, and there is a code of conduct to use said forum, if you, or your budy can’t follow that it’s your own fault for getting silenced.
It’s also for people who likes hard PvE content, but hey w/e, you keep up with the personal attacks on people.
You can still play pvp in game .
Punyelf is not mod on forum .you really dont know how forums work .do you ?
Punyelf is mvp .
" A Most Valuable Poster (or “Most Valued Forum Poster”; aka MVP) is a player who has answered players’ questions consistently and accurately in the past that Blizzard gives a note of credibility to what they post** . They continue to promote constructive posting wherever they can"
I tried retail a week or so ago with my old account not played for many many years, logged on noticed the transmog shop close by and was able to buy a giant flying pirate ship as a mount (no idea where I got the coins from do people get some of these per month free?)
I had to laugh a little IRL at how silly it looked
It did not float my boat
I believe the whole point of cross-faction dungeons is that you put aside your differences to defeat a joint threat.
It’s the classic trope that a lot of long running stories explore in an episode or whatever. The protagonist teams up with their long time rival/villain/counter to defeat a bigger threat that mutually affects both of the original parties. Then things go back to normal afterwards.
The Horde and Alliance are still two separate entities. They may work together against a larger threat or they may try to kick each other’s teeth in. That may not always translate to the “border areas” of either Faction like Guilds or Murder-hobo Adventurers.
I’ve said it in the past, medieval villages on the border of realms may have traded with each other even during wars between those two nations.
Whether or not you outright kill the other player if you meet them out in the overworld is dependent on you, but the option should be there to do so.
It’s a bit of a shame that we don’t have this horde and alliance war anymore, they bought me with this during the Bfa cinematic and that’s when I started playing, for me it’s the foundation of warcraft, and lately I have the impression that their target audience is some hippies or something like that. All sweet and peaceful. We pretend nothing happened and hold hands. Even though Shadowlands was a terrible expansion I spent more time there than on Dragon Isles because Dragon Isles doesn’t remind me of anything I like warcraft for.
Ah you’re one of those that cant take a joke so you have to create a lie to look like the bigger person.
Sad
FYI i dont engage in PVP therefore have never died in the world.
Such a sad pathetic attention seeker
I feel like its wore then that because even if you’re not going to have all out war between the factions, they can still be hostile to eachother, but not even that is happening
Instead of that you get wolves in darnassian style mount armor and night sabres in orc style mount armor
It’ll be a one faction game if this keeps up
The gilneas reclamation convinced me that the issue was never the faction war, the issue was how blizzard wrote and presented it into the game
100% my experience with DF, therefore the expansion I’ve played the least by far, and I’ve been playing since MoP.
In the past, there were also common enemies and common goals, but the intolerance of factions and larger or smaller skirmishes were always present regardless. Simply a well-balanced story that always moves forward but respects its roots. One good example is the end of MoP expansion (although I hate what they did with Garrosh). The two factions cooperate and achieve a common goal for the good of all, but it is clear that intolerance and hatred are always present, even in those moments of cooperation and triumph against the common enemy, and that even then there may be bloodshed.
And it had to be that way, but why? Because Varian’s father died fighting against the Horde, because the greatest hero of the Alliance Anduin Lothar died fighting against the Horde, because Orgrim Doomhammer, after whom the capital of the Horde is named, died freeing his people from the slavery of the Alliance, because Grommash Hellscream, after whom the main hall in Orgrimmar is named, devoted his entire stay on Azeroth to fighting the Alliance and rescuing his people from slavery. Etc etc…
Okay, that was a good one
Also nice seeing you here! - Juli
There was. Gameplay reasons with cross-faction. And Gameplay more important than everything else.
In fact, they should have done it 10 years ago.
The fact that its dull has nothing to do with cross-faction tension. You can have a good story with out it.
They just need to hire some proper people to write stuff. And stop smoking whatever they were smoking when they coughed up the Jailer.
