Idk. I’ve been an online no lifer for long enough that anyone who takes a role that:

  • Isn’t a professional service/role/job/etc
  • Paid position
  • Doesn’t come into your real world/life responsibilities -

Is under no obligation whatsoever to adhere to anything they say or do.

I’ve seen many guild masters over the years that either think themselves borderline moderators because they assume pseudo responsibility over a group of players. At the end of the day, the leader of the guild holds the reigns and if they don’t want to sabotage a real world friendship for some outrage over what honestly sounds like a harmless tumble in the isles, then …

Idk. Seems reasonable? Outraged forum Forsaken, Dwarves, Trolls and Goblins aren’t going to show up on his door step and knife him to death.

EDIT: That way you don’t get these misunderstandings about if you ERP or not. Also its kind of inappropriate.

However seriously yo… Owning NSFW art available to everyone who can just google it like this is pretty much exposing yourself.

On the other hand, it’s dumb to say that one cannot be friend with an NSFW artist without indulging in ERP… Gotta separate the two.

Talking from personal experience: if your RL friendship hinges upon staying in an RP Guild on a video game then you might want to evaluate what’s more important.

t. Guy who kicked / removed people from his guild for f. ups or inactivity of various degrees but remained on amiable terms outside WoW (let alone IRL) with the culprits because all parties understand that this is a video game
