Gimme an australia themed expansion with crocolisk humanoid race for Horde and a Varanid humanoid race for alliance.
The varanids are invaders from their own isles that ran out of resources, and were initially brought in to the crocs society as valuable migrants. Things soon went south however with land distribution etc, and the varanids resorted to eating the eggs of the crocs. The croc people banished and started killing/slaving em in return.
Crocs are western gunslinger and australia themed culturally, varanids are similar but more opportunistic.
Rework and update Azeroth, flesh out the old zones, update the old lore. The zones of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor should be in poverty and battle-scared at this point with all the Burning Legion invasions and the recent Scourge invasion. Blizzard needs to stop going higher and higher with their craziness. Sometimes I feel like the lore is just a junkie that keeps using more potent drugs in order to reach new heights while the soul withers away.
I feel itâs the same with this game. The core is old, dated, and rotten. So fix it or just let the game die pls. In the wise words of Bobby B: ââGive me something for the pain and let met dieââ.
I would personally love another âCataclysmâ style expansion, but repairing the damage and advancing the story of the old continents. Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms are the heart of WoW in my opinion, and to have them feel so outdated questing through them when we know things must have processed is such a shame.
Aside from that I do like the idea of WoD 2, given what we heard about the Lightbound and what not. But âLight badâ would go so counter to so many of WoWâs cultures and established lore I think a whole expansion of it would be a bit too much to swallow.
Iâm still keen on WoWstralia south of the obviously equatorial Uldum/Pandaria climate belt.
Of course thereâs also the sea between Azuremyst and the eastern kingdoms but they already blew the New World on Kalimdor in WC3. Were I a betting person, itâs inhabited by a very blizzard brand cultural parody of the abbasid caliphate with fancy onion domed houses everywhere where we liberate the oppressed mamluk expys from the decadent/dogmatically oppressive rulers.
An expansion dedicated in expanding Azerothâs landmass would be interesting to see playing out if itâs done in the same vein as Pandaria.
Could be a good opportunity to involve the less represented races of the factions doing things instead of having the same old same old cast of Human, Magic human, Undead human, Undead light human, Green Human, Horned Human, etcâŚ
Having the Vulpera as pioneers in WowAustralia sounds dope and these guys could actually have a home. Goblins handling the trading routes Ă la American westerns.
There is definitely going to be a war in the heavens type expansion that has been kind of foretold in various things where the army of light go against the Void. This will likely be linked to the Shadowlands and the mentions of the first ones.
Warcraft 2 Time Travel expansion. That way we can have faction conflict with none of the stupid drama. Thereâs a story already in place to follow, and we can follow both campaigns up to the fateful confrontation between Lothar and Doomhammer.
AND we can drag the Infinite Dragonflight back into relevance. Theyâve been mucking with time and we have to fix it! Simple. Not even Blizzardâs untrained monkey writers can muck that up.
I really just want a âworld revampâ expansion. The current state of the world is just not how it should look in canon now.
Thereâs a lot blizzard can do with this. Finally add the amani mountains, rework the tbc zones (silvermoon, ghostlands etc) to not be billboards or cut out paper zones. Old dungeons can be reworked, or entirely scrapped while there could be new dungeons emerging somewhere entirely else.
They keep stacking and stacking the threats and the size of threats to a point where they will inevitable run out of villains. Whats coming after the void and old gods?
