No it does not even retail have people who buy gold.
Some people have life and jobs and dont want spend their1 -3h of gameplay after hard work on farming gold they want actually to play a game. U will always have people like that without gdkp 
U cant stop rmt in wow but at least having gdkp people who dont buy gold can actually earn more gold. For loot, flasks, pots …repair and not be in minus after raid -300g and no loot lol
Not mention that even if some people have rotation to press one button can scenario happend that cant clear whole raid and then u get raid lock which is even worst.
While gdkp runs u have chance to clear pug raid because better and more geared ppl will join green demonic raid and carry it.
