The Duskwood Clique is furthermore not very welcoming, to the Out of Character Community - What happens IC stays IC. So yeh, I remember being sent the invite to this Discord by a friend, upon joining I was in the discord for about 4 minutes and well they were being extremely toxic and very unwelcoming upon me joining - then I got instantly banned, it seems that everything in character that goes on with the clique is solely out of character motivated.

With the way WoW´s lore works, even if it´s heavily suggested that some organization/place is now gone and all logic would dictate that it´s no longer a thing, it probably still exists anyway.

Black dragonflight? The one that was hunted down by Wrathion? Yeah, there are still dragons in Dustwallow in Tides of War and we see them on Island Expeditions.
Scarlet Crusade? Organization that was destroyed in Wrath, except it wasn´t and most of it was destroyed in Cata, except it wasn´t and it was destroyed in MoP, except it wasn´t and it was destroyed in Legion?
Scarlet Onslaught? Leftover of Scarlet Crusade that was destroyed in Wrath, except it still holds entire city in Legion?
Blue dragonflight, that was completely extinct during Day of the Dragon? Oh, wait, they are in Warcraft III. But it´s alright, since that´s result of timetravel shenanigans where Krasus saved their eggs. Except there are dragons who are older than that and in fact, the flight was not entirely destroyed in War of the Ancients, but rather most of it was destroyed in said war.

Blizzard has tradition of taking factions and organizations from the lore and bringing them back after they were destroyed. I remember reading on RP forums long time ago (before I even played on AD) how RPing Scarlet Crusade was bad, because it was clearly destroyed in MoP and the only survivors should be few scattered guys who are in hiding or left the organization.
Then they once again controlled Scarlet Monastery in Legion.

I am not saying that we should now RP every extinct organization ever, but just like Scarlet Crusade was suddenly not destroyed every time Blizzard wanted to use them in new story, Darkshire will be populated every time Blizzard wants to use it in new story.

You’re wrong. There were survivors and they were protected in a house by Watcher Ladimore. So it’s not wrong to assume that she’d rebuild the Night Watch - not that Blizzard will clarify it, which is why I’d rather avoid being near Darkshire.

I don’t think it’s right or fair that select guides try to actively monopolize RP in a certain zone. It just shows a lack of concern for others.

But it is no surprise that descendants of guilds like onyxguard, lucans, landfords and ebon vigil still manage to cause havoc in Duskwood with the old “this is my hut” casus belli

I’m curious to know what kind of people moderate the Duskwood Discord, and if there happens to be another Duskwood discord that is maintained by slightly more level headed people that actually want to help the community instead of creating cliques and keeping the “trash” out. “Trash” in this case consisting of people who have helped create content for the community.

A bunch of people, myself included, were removed from the discord channel earlier today, simply because our GM allegedly had whispered something to someone, even though he claims such things never happened and no one even has any screenshots to back it up.
I would understand if said person was removed from the server, if such proof actually existed, but why on earth would you remove people who have nothing to do with this drama, who simply want to roleplay on a roleplaying server?

RP has been on the decline for a while now, and this kind of behaviour is not doing the community any favours.

If you want to Roleplay on a roleplay server without Drama, then don’t try and start drama with stupid stunts. Simple enough. also don’t go to Duskwood.

Dudflex, was that a reply to my comment? Because I have not caused any drama. I literally joined the server a few days ago, and today I find myself removed from it without any explanation. And I later find out it’s because the moderators have an issue with ANOTHER PERSON and I just happen to be in that person’s guild. :'D

My man aeilmar, that’s some weak drama you’re trying to stir there. It doesn’t even mean anything to anyone because there’s 0 context delivered with it, as if no one has ever OOC told lollers to h*ck off. Add more to your drama or there’ll be a spanking.
