Nobody comments about that PF and necrotic shouldnt be in the great push that multi. teams in TGP have spoken out about (including echo).
BUT as normal BLIZZARD dont listen to players. Anyway they have their focus on TBC

Tbc is very good though. Reminds me of how good this company was before.
Well ye didnt see that just after, well blizz knows about it and they know that in the past there where many ways to abuse some dungeons in MDI, tol dagor for example, the problem is blizz needs to get rid of such easy killing mobs they could just remove the plageuborers from plaguefall problem solved.
I donât really care. The whole format is a joke and they should deliver 9.1 instead of streaming clown fiestas.
More like the big flush.
The issue is the infinite spawn. I think mechanics like plagueborers, nw weapons and tol dagor cannons are pretty cool, they let people push higher than what raw dps could.
They need to be a finite resource though to prevent abuse.
In my opinion it is Blizzards job to fix bugs that may give a team an advantage. They should have scoped out the dungeons in question and made sure they were bug free.
The bug only exists in the tournament realm as far as i am aware.
how do you expect blizzard to be aware of every single bug if no one reports it especially when it is so few people that will be affected by the bug?
But also yes they should as there is actual real-world money involved here.
Your post just screams hate in so many ways.
There is no question what so ever that Echo should in no way shape or form be punished in any way for their conduct, they ask blizzard before hand if this start was allowed, blizzard said yes. That should be the end of the discussion.
And to your point of perma banning someone from streaming for buying gold? Wtf o.0
Oh noes. Whatever shall i do. Its no secret that i look down on Scripe and everyone else involved in their RMT. He should have received a permanent suspension. There is no room for discussion here.
Did they ask if the Bomb trick was allowed or if it was allowed to use a feign death bug? Major difference there. As far as i understood they asked if the bomb trick was allowed.
Dont âwtfâ me. Read the blood rules you agreed on. Its a permanently bannable offense.
RMT is RMT. I couldnt give two poops whether you buy it or sell it. Both deserve to be removed from the game.
Hmm dont knowâŠah ye, their raid leader aka Scripe flat out admitting that he was involved. As a person. Thats a start.
lol They were using this exploit since the beginning of MDI
they just perfected it.
Yes, they did in fact check before using it.
And if you actually payed attention, for âminorâ cases, buying gold is usually a 3-14 days suspension.
In blizzard eyes selling gold for RMT is a far more serious offense and punished much harder.
Involved, and what does involved mean in this case, that he knew about it? Thatâs not against ToS.
Did he benefit from it? yes, but again, not against ToS. Or are you advocating that if someone buys gold, and spends that gold on an item on the AH that youâre selling you also get the ban because you benefited?
Even if Scripe himself, went on the site, ordered the gold, and payed with his credit card, if he never inserted his account char info or it was connected in any way to his bliz account, how do you prove he bought the gold?
Itâs easy to sit in your arm chair and play judge when you have 5% of the facts, but actually proving they ever recieved the gold, and through what accounts is another thing. And if you advocate that regardless of what accounts the gold went through before it reached Method Gbank, then we must also return to my earlier point, are you also guilty of RMT if someone who buys gold, then buys your item on the AH?
While i am against RMT, i can at least acknowledge.
âminorâ case? You havent paid much attention at all about how much Method/Echo bought then.
Involved means he was part of it. He also didnt see to be bothered to report it. This is not something up for discussion.
Strawman argument.
You realize that there are screenshots of him literally doing the deal with Gallywix right? Once again, this is not up for discussion.
And in todays wow, you think 400mil is so much ? Itâs really not that much, most people at that level of play run around with gold cap on serval chars
Even a low end Mythic guild, can easily make 4-5million gold per week by doing a bit of boosting.
Again, involved does not mean his account was invovlved in any way what so ever, and not stopping it, is not against ToS
Again, even then, you still need to prove his account was invovled. And by that i mean his Bnet account, not his discord, or phone or w/e
Apparently these people asked if they could use it, so no matter which side of the argument you sit on they knew about it before hand. Whether they specifically allowed the bug to be used remains to be seen.
Regardless, Iâd really like to hear what Blizzard themselves have to say. No one seems to be denying that they exploited, the argument seems to be whether itâs allowed or not and all of that comes down to the conversation had before the match. If it it was allowed why was this only communicated to a single team? Certainly this should have been shared with everyone participating and not just the people who live on tournament realm??
Yes they asked something but what did they ask is really the question.
People speculate but no one but blizzard and the team knows for sure what was said.
But I do find it telling that they selectively made their UI so you could not see some buffs on the players.
And hiding what they are doing even after it was found out.
I hope Blizzard takes a hard stance on this the next time there is even a question about it.
It makes the whole competition feel off when some are allowed to do things that just looks off.
If all the teams knew about it and had the time to practise it or it not being allowed the competition would feel better.
The whole competition ended if we give echo the same exact time on a 27 with less than 1minute difference over the course of all dungeons.
Meaning if they finished the dungeon at 27 with a more normal way but only 1min later than this strat they would have lost.
Just to be clear for me it was fine they asked the GM with them and that person said it was fine he might have done a mistake (and i do think so) but it was greenlit.
This however makes it not feel like a competition of who is the best rather it becomes a who is the best at hiding a way to do something the best And being allowed to do it.
I just hope blizzard takes a hardline on the next one as it is literally in the rules that willfully using a bug is not allowed but it also says it is up to the blizzard guy with them.
Im talking about the Euros spend.
And yet they had to rely on doing RMT.
Oh for the love of god <.< Ye man him doing the trade deal etc etc etc and him admitting to it but his account obviously wasnt involved cough cough.
Whatever you say. As i said this is not up for discussion
Which Guild got their WF! Lich King kill redacted, for âcreative use of Saronite BombsââŠ?
It even gave rise to an Achievement for a BfA Rare in the form of a giant mushroom⊠ironically called, The Lichen King.
Ensidia. It was for 25man Normal however. Heroic was claimed by Paragon.
It sucks to play eSports in a game that was not meant to be played in an eSports fashion. It sucks more that - if Blizzard didnât know about it until the eleventh hour - there were no moderators to step in and stop the run/reset it as has happened in actual eSports games.
Of course my real take is that players, especially tournament players, should not be subjected to the beta-testing of their game. But thatâs an impossible ask. Their wording in the rules - âusing known exploitsâ ensures that people who know a loophole and keep quiet about it get punished. Blizzard themselves donât need to know the problem, they have the power to DQ anyone.
Blizzard admins sat there and watched Echo do it for 5 hours after they asked permission to do it.
