The harsh truth of beeig a healer

If this keeps happening pretty often then play with better people. You can do that by being better and not just thinking you are.

I swear to God you have a cross referenced encyclopedia of perceived grievances committed in keys:

  • Stood in barrel and didn’t shapeshift!
  • Took 3 ticks of shark damage!
  • Moaned at me for doing dps as healer!

I never have these problems, am I not hyper critical enough?
Does my finger need to be ready to mash “print screen” to document evidence of others wrongdoing?

Some people just get on and do. Others hide their profiles, complain all day and get nothing much done…

I like rsham cause his healing doesn’t come from cooldowns (talking about M+) so I don’t feel weak outside of cds, like on hpally.

Weird, I love bursting as resto sham. Just spec into ascendance, pre-cloudburst and use these cds properly. I use link mostly to counter high stacks of necrotic, rather than bursting.

It’s Vinzora, his posts aren’t even funny anymore, I ignore him.

I know what you say, but using a 3 minute cd and a totem that needs preparation with building up numbers, is not the same as just putting efflo down, rejuv players, lifebloom yourself, press wild growth when bursting starts

No idea how you do that on shaman running from big pull into big pull. Or sauridspack into sauridpack into honorguardpack, into another honorguard + doctor pack.

Edit:
How much fun would it have been when we still had ancestral guidance, gift of the queen, a healing tide totem that did anything, ascendance, spiritlink and then ineffable truth gameplay

I spec into Deluge, before engaging those packs I stun them (to buy few seconds for myself) and put Healing Rain, then Cloudburst and Chain spam (even on full hp, precasting). I use one cooldown per those. On higher keys though tanks snap these saurids so they jump only on them instead whole party.

I miss those… And CBT+AG double dip combo

Tripple fail, the Shadow-Priest isn’t super great currently either…especially since we don’t have any good CC (No, our fear is not one) and our self-heal just sucks!

that’s so cute.

Or you’re just lucky.

This guy got himself killed by avoidable damage, stood in the charge on first boss in FH(https://i.imgur.com/ez0ZEVj.png).

Flames the healer because he wasn’t topped off then he dies again and he flames the healer again and then leaves(Going ALT F4). What a joke of a player. He shouldn’t have been standing in the charge in the first place.

my score is 1.7 . not good for 12 keys?

Lol what are u talking about like the first 50 kills of nzoth mythic all had disc priests. You need to think bigger than higher hps = better lol

Druid isn’t the best healer in PvP, not even close.

Healing isn’t 100% about pure Healing Per Second as some may think, it’s important sure but it’s not everything which matters. In Mythic raids it’s about keeping the group alive with the help of utilities. High end guilds choose different healing specs based on the utilities they can provide in a 20 man raid environment, but it also depends on the boss of course- on one boss you might need a certain utility while on another it’s perhaps not that good. In Mythic raids healers actually mostly use a rotation on healing cooldowns throughout the fight to keep damage taken reduced at various points of an encounter.

For example a Discipline Priests “Power Word: Barrier” is a very strong utility in Mythic raids due to a flat 25% damage reduction to everyone that stands within the barrier for 10 seconds. It also has a relatively short cooldown at 3 minutes (1½ with the PvP talent in PvP areas) for such a powerful effect, and can used on average 2 times if used at the beginning and the end in most raid fights- but of course it depends on where in the fight deadly damage should be reduced and how long the fight is.

Guess It’s because pala and dudu have legendarny weak dps, so blizz had to boost their healing to balance it out.
Or was it the opposite?
You would think that spec-locking was ment to resolve this problem. Guess not.
