The Lightbound did nothing wrong and the Mag'har hypocrisy

Pheta thones gamera. - Light, guide our path.

DISCLAIMER: If you’re here to just moralize with our modern world morals then the door is to your left and don’t let it hit your face while leaving.

Now that disclaimer is over lets start our subject. At first glance the Lightbound seem like the bad guys especially when our only interaction with them is through the lens of the AU!Orcs however I will tell that it isn’t so when looking at the larger picture.

First lets consider Draenor and the cultures it has spawned. Only one sentence can summaries the world’s history “The strong rule, the weak drool.” Indeed. It’s whole history is written by somebody enslaving another and everybody fighting each other for supremacy. It is a savage world.

Now that we have cultural background to work with lets zoom into the orcs. While currently they cry about how they were going to be subjugated by the Lightbound it wasn’t always so and even the current AU!Orcs have subjugated ogres under their rule after we left their planet. When we came to AU!Draenor the orcs were in good ways exterminating and subjugating AU!Draenei. Whole orcish heritage is about following the biggest, meanest and the most cunning orc around; and if you didn’t like the current rule you could always challenge the chieftain to mak’gora to place yourself as the new top mutt. Even the Horde works with the same idea which spawned from the orcish culture. “The strong rule, the weak drool”, indeed.

Now lets bring the Lightbound to the mix and I tell you they only follow the cultural heritage of the planet with their actions. As the saying goes: “When in Rome do as Romans do.” Indeed, they are subjugating Draenor under their rule but that is nothing different from what all other races within Draenor have done. If anything they are helping the other lesser races to ascend into far greater purpose than what their meaningless lives would have done alone. And so I will tell you the Lightbound have done nothing wrong by the culture of the planet and Mag’har Orcs are the biggest hypocrites for crying foul about it!

You did it all wrong. You should have exterminated the orcs down to the last child instead of bringing them into your ranks, thus opening the way for insubordination, mutiny, or even worse, civil war.

I always say: Never let a lesser species do a Human’s job. If only our good Lord Admiral Daelin were still alive, he would show the Lightbound how a purge is done.

I see what you did there.

I’m not saying that the Lightbound are morally better than the Mag’har, I already yielded that point in my demonstration, because my whole point was that the Lightbound have done nothing different that AU!Orcs haven’t done in the past and by their cultural standards they should have accepted the Lightbound rule as per their own tradition after the Lightbound showed their strength to allow the strong rule and the weak serve.

The difference is:
The Orcs left the Ogres to rule themselves, follow their own culture etc.
The Draenei force everyone into their slavish, dogmatic Light following and use Superweapons from out of space instead of “streangth”.

Did you know that if someone does something bad to you?
And you then return the favor through exact same means, even though you know the pain and Suffering of such Results?

You are worse than the person that did something to you.

On a different note there was peace among the Draenei and the Orcs as told, they had worked together to vanquish the Legion.
The Orcs even allowed those willing to join the Light Culture.

However the Moment the Draenei began to enforce it upon the Mag’har they became even worse than the Iron Horde as a result.

So, no you are Wrong.
The Lightforged did everything Wrong.

You might have read Spinoza at some point, but I doubt you have if this is the best you can come up with, which is why I am telling you to read the Tractatus Theologico-Politicus, specifically chapter 17, so I don’t have to spend my time proving you wrong.

And, to give an argument myself: if this is all true, then the Draenei had no right to protest and rebel against the Iron Horde’s reign, which they did. Unless they were right, but in that case the Mag’har Orcs have all right to rebel against the Lightbound as well.

Do you expect cultural aliens to abide and adapt to your culture in a time frame that is to those aliens just a blink of an eye in their thousands of years of lifespan especially until then they were left to their own devices and thusly segregate into their own community? The Iron Horde was harsh wakening to the AU!Draenei how the world worked and the AU!Draenei adapted deciding to the become the strong of the savage world.

What part of the Orge tribe you fight on AU were being forced changed to Light users?

Puahahahahahahahah.

You have only seen one side of the story told by the Iron Horde. I’d rather hear the full story than some bias version from Grom and AU Thrall, who are known to twist views.

And worse than the Iron Horde!? Are you serious!?

This all doesn’t matter.

What does is that the Lightbound apparently did not follow the presumed laws of Draenor by rebelling against the dominant forces. The whole existence of the AU Draenei is therefore unjustified, and the Lightbound should not exist at all.

Or, since the Draenei are now the dominant force in Draenor, the Orcs will have to follow Draenei customs, which means that they are allowed to rebel against the Lightbound since the Draenei did so too in the past.

I know you’re trolling, but at least try to be clever.

Not only one side:

You’re forgetting one important thing I mentioned earlier with the orcs. The strong rule only as long as they are strong. The rule can be challenged but if you cannot backup your challenge with strength then you’re dead and if you flee then you are dishonoured by your whole community. It was clear that AU!Orcs challenge against the Lightbound was futile one because the AU!Orcs were on their back foot whole rebellion rather than being able to show their dominance then in the end fled rather than dying with honour.

The Lightbound might be fanatics but I’ll take them over the Iron Horde.

If the Lightbound win: Draenei and orc live in peace on Draenor, though the planet might be dying (It’s not certain if it was the Light that did that though, I won’t trust the word of biased orc pigs). Obviously, the Lightbound have never attempted to destroy Stormwind, so they automatically have my vote.

If the Iron Horde win: Every region on Draenor is devastated by industry, everyone but orcs and ogres are dead.

Actually, if the Iron Horde won, there is the chance that Draenor might be consumed by the Void. After all, Ner’zhul attempted to exterminate the Draenei by using a Void Naaru.

And, by the way, do you know who ordered Ner’zhul to do so? Grommash. The man who “died with honor”. The man who “freed Draenor”.

I see nothing wrong with what the sermon is saying here. The Draenor orcs have shown themselves to be consistently easily swayed by the fel.

If there are any orcs that have been proven to be hard to be swayed by Fel…that’s the AU clans.
To the point we have stuff like this:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TLzhlsEFcVQ

And several quests that made the current remnants of the orc clans actively reject Fel.

You know that they instantly flocked to the Legion’s side once they started losing badly the war, right? And that Grommash himself, like the hypocrite he is, was using Fel energy to power the Dark Portal.

That’s not being ‘swayed’ by it. And the ones that got indeed swayed, were killed in Hellfire Citadel.

Current Maghar are all brown skinned orcs.

Edit: And if we are to have random hypothetical statements about how probable is the scenario of orcs getting swayed by Fel, Draenei beat them by a great margin. Statistically speaking and given the percentages of their race.
At least orcs had to be fooled into it.
Not to derail, but I found this noting funny.

So, what is the part of it which is suppressing the various races?

And yet we had the Azeroth orcs who dived right back into the fel ala Grom himself. Power, especially easy power, is tempting. How many Draenei do you see willingly fall to the fel? One? Two? Zero? I know of only one spoken case in BfA.

‘‘We will never be slaves’’? I use this cinematic as a horror story joke with people quite frequently.

Draenor was nearly lost to the Burning Legion, again.

In the MU, we have…approaching what…99% of orcs? How common are brown orcs in the MU orcs? Answer: They barely exist. Unknown percentages either way, due to Blizz’s accounting. You cannot claim this point.

Draenei were also fooled into it, by Sargeras. Also, unrelated.
