When i decline someone on a +16 i do that for my groups safety too.

The sane way to do this is to only allow setting the requirement as high as the LOWEST rating in the group. Because otherwise it does pretty little, you still carry “friends” (aka buyers), etc.
Chances are, Blizzard will allow setting the requirement as high as the rating of whoever creates the group, however. Because, you know, boosts are great for them.

well yes, but in this situation it’s more like a manager putting out on his website that he’s looking for new employees in X role, and in that case it’s up to other people to apply and say hey, here’s why I’m a good fit.
