It is, in essence. But then players themselves at least wouldn’t be the ones applying their own personal bias/prejudice/hatred to it. You’d think the devs would apply such filters with only the game balance/playability in mind. I simply don’t trust (most) players to do that.

I think this is a fault with Blizzards own system which RIO did better if you signed up and linked chars . Its obvious they have tanked on another char by there actions but the OP was not to know that at the time but the OP is still showing signs of arrogance as well but it is what it is both of them are wrong in my view in there actions .

I still use Rio because it gives me far more information than the in game system does. I don’t know if Blizz did it on purpose so people still have a reason to use Rio.

Yeah no, you’re not gonna make me feel bad for someone who feels justified to compare not inviting players to your group to marking Jews with stars, and pretends that those not invited are some sort of victims of some great discrimination plot. I will happily bully that person and feel absolutely no remorse. That’s not a handful. 1. He had no IO, so impossible to know if he was capable.

2. If you apply for something you have to accept the possibility to get declined, that’s how applying work. People who put up the add are in charge of who get in and who doesn’t. When I am with guildies and we have a tank and are looking for a dps, we get 10s of people applying with several of them all being able to time the dungeon but at the end of the day we have room for only one person. So the others get automatically declined. But some tanks are so used to being auto invite that they can’t take the ego hit of being declined, whereas a dps is getting declined to maybe 10 keys before being invited to one.

I think we got pretty far in extreme’s about examples, where i totally can not agree with. But our middle ground is probably where i do agree, is on a lot of groups too high requirements are set for the content they are doing.

If it’s fine for someone to reject a perfectly capable player with more than enough gear for their key, opting to wait for a carry, then they shouldn’t be surprised at the rejected player beating them at their own stupid game of praying to RIO or whatever. That’s all. ))

I mean it was kind of obvious to me that RIO would be better even before Blizzard added the score. They just suck at implementing good user interface solutions.

The problem is, in this case they did not know the player had experience. And without the score it even more looked like they had to carry this tank.
