Why on earth pet battle week exists ? How many people actually do pet battles ? Why do we even have a week for the stupidest feature in the game ?

If it was fun it woulda been removed long time ago. I just dont think it deserves an entire week.

I enjoy it.
I don’t enjoy dungeons/raids. Maybe I should suggest they be got rid of?
Blizzard will know roughly how many people are playing each part of the game. If no-one was pet battling, they wouldn’t keep on with it.

I love it when it’s pet battle week because I’m not interested in that at all and can safely skip it, which means one less weekly chore for me.

I like the idea but hate the grind. Got maybe 1 or 2 pets to level 25 and managed to clear Northrend and then kinda stopped for the time being.
“The stupidest feature in the game” is actually better than Pokemon. Have you ever tried pet battles? I know it takes a bit of thinking and strategy but I am sure you will be able to get there.
Well quite a few. They even make videos and get quite a lot of views and have information sites just like for the PvE and PvP content. They even have some pretty great addons too.
Oh yes I forgot about the Pet Battle Dungeons, Quite fun and challenging.
The next time you whine “I have nothing to do…” or “where is the new content…” maybe try some pet battles.

I tried pet battles thinking it will be a faceroll. Not doing it anymore.
Pet battles are too hard, blizz pls nerf.
You can level pets quite easily using Leveling Stones and convert them to rare quality using Rare Stones. Those you can get from the pet vendor for Polished Pet Charms obtained from the daily pet battles in BfA and Shadowlands. You only need about 10 pets to clear all the battles in BfA. Shadowlands seems to be a few more.

In shadowlands version of world quests (and the timegated rep farms of bfa for pathfinder) i really struggle to understand why people still complain about pet battles.
After the initial investment of getting them started they are by far some of the fastest ways to complete world quests.
The difference between someone who did pet battles in nazjatar/mechagon vs someone who didn’t for pathfinder was massive, they take just a couple minutes to do and that’s it done with.
If anything i wish the pet event was more frequent than it already is, i can totally understand people not liking that its THE event of the week and think it probably should just be more like a darkmoon faire type of event where it just happens once a month along side other events.
