Only weekly event i do is the 4 mythic dungeons, everything else i dont do. Just do the events u like and skip the rest

I’m honestly am shocked that someone who dislikes the game managed to become an MVP.

What? I love the game. I’ve been playing since vanilla with no sub breaks. Everyone likes different things. I like levelling and questing and exploring and achievements and battlegrounds and professions and doing old dungeons and raids solo (which I know negates my argument a little) and, yes, pet battling. Everyone has their own favourite parts of the game. Why should disliking any one mean you hate the game? And why would you take a throw-away joke comment so seriously?

I would also point out I’m a customer support mvp which means I spend most of my forum time helping people in the CS forum.

There are those that would say the exact same thing about PvP event week, or Mythic dungeons week.

Different people like to do different things, just because you don’t enjoy that particular content doesn’t make it useless.

God no, that would be awful for me. Because of my OCD I would have to do the 20 world quests weekly on my six 60’s every week ;s

Well, only if you’d pick the WQ weekly (and mind you; it’s ‘world content’, so it would not only be ‘do 20 WQs’, that’d be just 1 of several world content quests that could pop up.

The idea behind it, is you can pick a weekly for content you’d be doing anyways, so it’s not really a grind.

But you definitely would not be doing 6 weekly quests every week; that’d lead to severe burn out and also it would just be unbalanced reward wise.

I never do the arena or bg or mythic weeklies. So imo those don’t deserve a whole week. It’s all in the eye of the beholder.

I would like to see 1 weekly for every activity in the game every week.
Limit the weeklies someone can complete to 1 or maybe 2 to make sure this feature isn’t abused, but let people choose a weekly for the activity THEY enjoy.

So each of these activities should get their own set of 4-5 different weekly versions that rotate around:

Mythic Dungeons.
Timewalking.
Raids.
PvP.
World content.
Pet Battles.

So there’d be 6 weeklies every week, but you’d only be able to complete 1 or maybe 2 of them.

I really think that would be a great solution.
Of course there’d need to be some balancing (because getting extra gear rewards every week would probably become a bit of a problem), but nothing that couldn’t be fixed. It would at least always give a weekly for someone to do, no matter what content they enjoy.

• In the example above though, maybe it would be better to just have ‘dungeons’ as an activity and put the timewalking event in with that category.

I’m quite new to pet battles and pet battle week is very useful for levelling up pets. My roster is not broad enough to do the Shadowlands achievements yet but hopefully in the coming months I’ll get there.
I’m enjoying Pet Battles, never thought I would until I actually started doing it.

Currently I’m doing more Pet Battle content than current content. Until flying comes I won’t be doing much in Shadowlands, my tolerance of the frustrating landscapes has run thin.
In days of yore I used to do this kind of thing late in an expansion when my main and a few alts had done most of what was available and things were quiet waiting for the next expac. But in the last couple of expacs I’ve done the intial content then gone into doing old raids for tranmgs or mount, pet battles, old achievements.

Net Pet Battle week (there wasn’t one in January) is 10th Feb.
At the same time as this we have:
Lunar Festival
Love is in the air
Torghast Chorus of Dead Souls (whatever that is?)

So Pet Battles do not get a week excusively to themselves. Just happens that whilst a lot of other stuff is happening, Pet Battlers also get something.

I don’t do much pvp or raiding anymore and the last time I did Arena was in WotLK.

To me, those weeks are useless. But it is entirely my choice not to participate in those activities so the “wasted weeks” are on me.

pet battle week when lined up with the Squirt battle in garrisons is by far the most efficient way to level battle pets through battle. So it serves a very important purpose for pet battle and collectors.
