I donât get how this all passed beta testing, did no one complain about it during the test phase??? very strange
Very strange indeed.
Yeah, they really should have made it opt in.
I understand a lot of people hated the old UI, but I loved it. I was used to it. worked my way around it for a really long time.
When it got updated in BFA, I was okay with that, it looked good.
But now? I hate it. Itâs devoid of soul. Yeah, you can move things around, and thatâs great for people who want to do that. But I just want my gryphons and grey backgroundy buttons back.
biggest problem i have , unless i am missing something, is that after playing about and trying to get one interface the way i want it , is that i have to relog over 30 times to update alts , then if i make a change then i have to relog 30 times again to implement the changes , there should be an option that allows you to apply baseline changes to all your characters, then just streamline individual interfaces, unless there is that option and i cannot see it
just adding that one thing i do not like and cannot change is the mini map , too big and just looks wrong , its distracting when it is that big and just harder to glance at for information
I miss the old tradeskills ui⌠the new one is annoying. Doesnt show color of a skills like it use to so you know which is skills up. You have to go manually click the skills up thingie. And manually switch from expansion to expansion to see how high your .e.g skinning is⌠annoyingâŚ
It does if only 1% of the playerbase is invited to beta testing and even then, if out of that 1% there is not a single person who complains abit it: It will still get implented. Unfortunately.
Surely the new UI is a masterpiece and does not have issues such as :
- Wonky Scaling (for the items that even have scaling)
- Immovable objects
- Adressing the core issue why people heavily moded their UIâs (lack of important information, clearing up visual cluster, etc).
There is no way that the beloved Developers at Activision-Blizz would make a worse version of bartender without the option to not use it.
Edit : Hilariously now I have to use bartender instead of just WA packs in order to deal with the UI.
I donât mind the UI that much but what I do hate is the new cast bars under target frames. Is there anything out there that changes it to something that resembles the old ones?
You can use ui scaling in graphic options to make stuff bigger.
I really like the new UI.
but being shortsighted, and playing on an 32" monitor. I find the QUEST/BAG/ACHIEV/CHARAC windows are too small. Quest text window is at the far left of my monitor, i cant move it, i cant scale it, so thats a burden.
Bag window same thing here, icons are a wee bit too small for my liking, i cant move it, i cant scale it.
Character⌠same as above.
It would seem, these are neccessary points that Blizz should act upon and make them part of the âAccessibilityâ panel for those that do have problem with sight.
Itâs a monumental overlap in that they missed this completely, why only focus on actionbars and skip the rest?
Now, im not sure if the developers for âMoveAnythingâ are still active, but they are my last hope it seems. If that addon ever gets an update.
This so much this.
Sees a qq post, gets offended by qq post, proceeds to comment in qq post. Average wow enjoyer. /slow clap.
I donât understand how in so many years I still canât move that window. In my huge monitor I have to lean to the left side to be able to read. How hard can it possibly be to make a window that I can move freely.
⌠Bad sight and a pointlessly huge 32" inch screen? Okay then. Make use of that screen space and increase the UI scale.
Same here! I hate this! Made a suggestion on it but not sure if they read them tbh :)))
It will get implemented anyway. Unless is a 100% âdoes not workâ feedback on a massive level, they wonât scratch it, too much work wasted isnât acceptable.
Theyâll go on and set the fixes for the next 3 yrs.
The new User Interface is one of the best things, that blizzard has implemented in DF. Donât let yourself be blinded by nostalgia
Thanks for ignoring all the issues me and countless others have explained in detail.
Kinda hijack , but where exactly is that âraid panelâ now ? The one that used to be( for me) on left, where u could pop it out and convert to raid, do ready check , or use tho marks on ground etc ? Kinda miss it and cant realy seem to find it
The new calendar icon is so miniscule I almost canât even see that itâs there. The minibuttons below the bag are so colorless and generic that I have trouble deciding which is which. They are also too small. The minimap with the smart tracking features is much worse than the old one where I could see exactly what I wanted to see. The new one is cluttering my window with useless icons.
