It’s about the layers. As we know, on fresh servers blizzard made new genial layer system when layer amount scale with server online, So, when less people online, blizzard shut down some layers to keep each layer population near maximum possible layer population cap.
It’s not how it should work. On traditional classic servers in 2005 without layers, or in classic 2019-2021 when amount of layers was constant and doesn’t change at night - night or morning was a time when you could farm consumes with less compatition, not fighting for every mob or every herb. Now, in fact, we have perma prime-time. Yes, some people can say it’s good that open world is always alive. But, in fact, classic economic is not adapted to perma prime-time. It just wasn’t designed for it. And it’s the main problem with current fresh server consumables prices. It’s not about increasing lotus spawn rate - lotuses is only little part of the problem (because most of other consumes also cost much more then in classic). The core of the problem is current layering system that brings every layer to prime-time 24/7.

I still don’t understand why people play this version to raid. In my opinion, all you can do in anniversary is to PvP.
raiding in classic requires a lot of preperation and drop rates are really low. I farmed more than 2 months for Neltharion’s tear. Getting 8/8 t2 took me more than 8 months, getting castigator on my warrior took me like 20 naxx runs.
We all know classic will proceed to TBC and most of those hard to get items will be converted into garbage.
If you ask me, don’t raid, get R14 gear and weapons, enjoy PvP and wait for TBC.

Reason is that there is only 1 big mega pvp server.
As a mage, i did read that the mind quickening gem from BWL is very good and mandatory for TBC PvP too ? Getting this Item seems Impossible for me because of the short time of vanilla. I also dont want to raid because of the reasons you mentioned
great parsing trinket but everyone going to SR it, chances are low but never zero. Good luck on farming those, but most people won’t see it before TBC and its drop rate is way better than items like Neltharion’s tear, GoA, Maladath, CTS etc.

Wait really? I didnt know its banned in Arena
Yea then i wont even bother trying to get it lol
It’s very good for early arcane PvE also, like in TK/SSC. Basically it’s the one item actually worth getting in the entire TBC waiting room.

@Nicolay Darkmoon Dragon trinket is also a good item to get.
You mean Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon?
It’s a completely wasted trinket slot for a Mage. That proc regen wont even get you one fireball or tbc arcane blast. Maybe it has some value for healer sustain IDK, for Mage you’ll get more from Eye of the Beast or literally any raid dps trinket, not to mention TBC levelling ones.
I was thinking generally as a good item to get from Classic to TBC. That trinket is good for healers like Druids and Priests.
We’d have to have a knowledgeable healer main comment on this then, it feels to me like the item is a noobtrap, since healing is all about throughput, not sustain in current meta. All fights take 1 minute instead of 5.
