The positivity thread!

I had mayhaps the worst/best run of Korrak’s Revenge
it lasted around 2 hours.
I could tell the alliance players apart based on their names, thats how long it went on.
I could tell when a new player had joined.

In the first hour the alliance had a solid lead, they rushed the horde base and took the towers there, only iceblood somehow remained active, all the while we tried to push into their base, when that failed we got pushed all the way back to our base, in the fallback we also lost the last tower, We made what would have been a valiant last stand at the gates but through some combination of tenacity, grit and horde pride we stood our ground, for the 2nd hour of the match a dedicated team of rogues snuck into the alliance base to destroy their last two bunkers all the while we kept them away from our base gates and from back capping the base graveyard, for 1 whole hour all that stood in the alliance way of victory was one slip up.
Towards the end we had sneakily reduced the amount of defenders leaving like 3 dps, 2 healers and maybe 1 tank to defend the entrance to our boss while the rest of us stormed the alliance keep and killed the boss ending the battle in what I can only describe as game of the year.
And in a totally unexpected wholesome conclusion, someone whispered me after the fight and praised me for my call outs.

TLDR:
a surprising display of persistent teamwork in a PuG BG pulled victory from the jaws of defeat all because some of us decided to talk in chat.
