would you be ok with it being kept as dual wield but you were allowed to Tmog it to two hand?
Personally I am not a fan of dual wield, I think it looks silly but I do like to imagine the frost DK as a slow unstoppable force that will just keep going after you.
Also for a long time I thought the Doomhammer was a 2 handed weapon?

If only 2h, than nice another 2h dk specc taking out a big part of dk lore, who had tons of duel wilding members
Honestly, frost should have been the slow 2handed spec and unholy should have been the diseased and feverish dual wield spec. But then again Blizzard had other ideas.

Wish both would come back, though enhance feels slightly more right with quick one-handers compared to frost imo.

Most likely to happen for DKs than Enhancement Shamans.
Because when I think of Frost DK, I think of Arthas wielding Frostmourne a 2h sword. I think of a juggernaut who walks slowly towards their enemies’ impending doom. Obliterating them with giant 2handed swings. Not pinching them with toothpicks. Also Frost implies being slow anyway.
If anything Unholy should’ve been the dual wielding spec, because they’re all about spreading diseases. It should be the spec that deals with death by 1000 festering cuts, instead of 1 festering wound.
Yes, actually that would probably remove most of the complaints. While 2h dk was pretty fun to play for me personally, I think I would be satisfied with a mog option. Probably the same for Enhancement Shamans.

Likely to only be mog only as a realistic option, balancing DW and 2h of the same spec (same abilities) is ridiculously difficult. Classic example being how do you balance the fact that 2H frost dks can only use one rune forge when DW can use two? Same for enh shammy and weapon enchant.
By looking at weapons granted as reward for completing new DK starting zone… Yes… I expect 2h weapons to come back. This will be a big troll if you will get 2h frost weapon as unholy/blood to dance in front of your frost friends.
IMO best choice is to remove dual wield and make Frost 2h only. We have artifact that is DW so anyone could play what they want with this transmog.
it’s simply not going to happen no matter how hard my brothers and sisters cry 2h frost is dead it was dead the moment a artifact was created even in what little we know of shadowlands we already know we will be duel wielding i suppose the irony is that fury warriors would love to have what we have
and let’s not forget that bolvar showed us how bad 2h frost is
How would 2-handed Enh even work now? The playstyle seems tailor made for dual wielding.
I have often said I am a great fan of frost dual wield, I love my two handed mog. However I would not deny others the chance to wield 2 handers.
But only if frost retains dual wield, otherwise I’m very much against removing dual wield and replacing it with 2 hand. We already have 2 2’hander specs.
iirc the devs said they would like to do it in an interview. Not sure it will really happen though.
if the devs told you they would give you ice cream would you believe them ion and his team say a lot but deliver very little
I used to play Draenei Shaman in TBC with my two-handed axe… Good old days. Bring em back
