all about healing. the t1/t2/t3 druid sets have only healing attributes lol. the raids dont really drop anything usefully for ferals/moonkins. the r14 set is also not really good for raiding. well
thats nothing new tho you could bear tank with pvp gear i believe
and yea loot sucks same for shadowpriest need pvp gear instead of tier or wait until AQ

Yeah I wouldn’t play druid, if I weren’t healing.

Druids are great tanks in classic and most encounters are easily tanked by them with a few exceptions. We had a feral for a MT in whole of classic and managed to clear everything including AQ40. We stopped at some point when Naxx was released, so I can’t tell you from personal experience, but I have seen bears tank in Naxx as well.
For cat as a DPS: Cats are able to deal proper DPS if played correctly. Ofc you will not compete with warriors, but the DPS you bring is still enough to clear all the content.
Itemization can be a problem, but the more we progress into the game, the better the available gear is and ferals scale exceptionally well with gear. Better than most other classes.
I suggest you read up on guides and join the discord, not just the general druid one but also Shedo’s discord.
If you only desire to play something optimal then yes, there are like 2 classes in classic to choose from.
PS: Moonkins suck, yeah, but I still know people who played that and cleared even a few bosses in Naxx. The point is that the lack of just some dps is not gonna make you wipe. People don’t seem to understand that.

I would call necessity of farming gnomer around 5 hours per week more than a problem.
Take the back entrance, takes 3 minutes per run. You can also just stop using mcps on bosses that your guild has on farm already.
I agree it’s annoying but there are much worse things to farm in this game.
if i would lead a raid, i wouldnt invite more than 1 druid healer, because the healdots can not stack with other druids on a single target. lol. the more i play classic, the more i find out how bad classic was.

Could assign groups to the different druids if having more than one. That’s how we did it in the old days
What’s so problematic about assigning individual groups to every druid? You don’t need to stack a ton of hots on a single target for some raid healing. For MT heal you will have your slots for hots anyways.
That is if you don’t raid with a guild that stacks consumables, because hots still use buff slots afaik. If that’s the case you will be spamming downranked Healing Touches all day long and not even need hots.
Sure, there are better healing classes out there but again - what’s the point in thinking like that? You can clear the content in almost all cases anyways. Classes and specs don’t matter that much.
You have to lose that “gogogo” mindset and stop obsessing about optimal raid setups and stuff. Just play the game. Look for like minded people.
