Because they were friggin forced to play with those people while PuGing before OBR was even a thought in Blizzards head, that’s bloody why!
You lot just moan under a different title but basically complain about the same thing you’re complaining about in PuGs for years. You just found a different thing to point your stupid little pitchfork at.
What the…what junction did you miss with that comparison…
It’s just pitchforking at a “new enemy” while the enemy still is the exact same: PuG.
Because players that were unable to play are now in our keys. You saying it performs worse than if you know your class is pretty hollow when tettles beat 2 high end players in a ML+17.
But let’s pretend that isn’t true. I don’t want to play with even less capable players that won’t CC ever/won’t kick because they are so “insert whatever is the reason they have to use OBR here” that all they can do is push that one button. Maybe WASD
I tried it on my mage and found it boring but the one button thing made my warrior actually fun to play because i just do not care at all about how warrior rotation works but the one button rotation actually made it ZUG ZUG fun to play.
Pure gaslighting, literally no different to having people join your group who were actually carried for their supposed rating… which has been a thing for almost the past decade since M+ was introduced. Or it must be my imagination of the countless threads we see of people leaving or failing runs for M+ depleting keys…
This is not accessibility tho? That’s like saying in shooter genre that I can’t aim properly, so give me aimbot. Why pressing any button at this point?
What’s next? Making WoW an idle mobile game? Where do we draw the line?
There are many people much older than that, including myself. Learning a rotation does not require a lot of effort, nor a degree. It’s really not that hard. If anything I’d argue that someone who is not even able to learn something as simple as his dps rotation, the same person will surely not put the required effort in learning raid/dungeon mechanics.
So basically just because people are able to “unalive” other people, let’s just give everyone a gun because who cares? This logic seems flawed to me.
This is still an issue to this day but now it’s gonna be even worse. Should we not work towards a solution to fix the existing problems instead of making those worse?
But speaking of accessibility… not everyone is willing to organize his entire life around WoW… should we not improve the experience of those players?
That’s the issue with OBR, it’s the “casual” or “pug” players (whatever you want to call them) who suffer here, not the pre-made groups.
That’s why I was asking earlier, why is this a solution for the people who want to avoid the OBR players but not a solution for those who want to use it? Make them visible and they can play with each other but you call it a discrimination for some reason.
Also, from my personal experience the community groups are terrible, especially the higher you go.
As I said, it’s not so easy to find 4 people who can play at the same time as you.
If it was easy, then there would be no problem with making the OBR people visible, right? They would still easily find people to play with. In fact, nobody would even complain about the pug life
The issue is that there is reality.
Doesn’t surprise me. Not because players are bad but because TWW genuinely has the worst class design of any version of WoW. It’s bloated to all hell, nothing is comfortable to play. Instead of fixing it they’re adding the one button assist, I expect the number of players using it to increase as they add more ‘hero talent’ like things to the game.
How is that different to io, spec, ilvl, etc?
Why is it ok to decline players based on all that, even tho you would still complete the dungeon in time?
Why is it ok to decline players based on the language they speak and where they come from?
I fail to understand why all the options we have, that are truly discriminating, are somehow ok… but seeing if someone is using OBR is somehow a no-go… makes no sense to me.
