I am interested in knowing how things are on the pvp server because i read here that some people want to transfer from the pvp realm over to the pve one, why is this?
Is PvP with all the ganking and camping really this bad? Is it pvp galore all over the zones?
Very little ganking here. Like 9 out of 10 hordes will just quest alongside you and even help you sometimes. Nobody needs this war, it’s not efficient.
There are other issues. World chats are full with spam. AH prices are ridiculous. Boosts are everywhere. May be things are better in PvE server in that regard? I don’t know… Have nothing with PvP, though, more like popularity.
Sorry for the very late reply.
I wanted to tell you that i decided to play on the PvE server, if at any point i wish for PvP i can always queue for BG’s.
Regarding chat spam, ridiculous AH prices and boosts the PvE server seems to be much more chill.
I haven’t played that much yet (only level 32), but all kinds of PvP I’ve experienced this far is being corpsecamped by level 60 rogues (only rogues, no other class). Especially in zones like Hillsbrad, they roam the area for hours every single day, killing every low level player in sight. Especially a dwarf rogue, whose name I can’t name on these forums, but other low level hordes probably know who I’m talking about.
If you end up on the same layer as him, your best bet is to switch zone or log off for the time being.
The only PVP is for node or mob competition. Since chronoboon has been added there is not much grief potential and I don’t think I have ever seen pvp at song flower. I get myself WCB inside of orgrimmar twice a week and for other people too. PVP server is a safeguard against people camping things with bots and auto clickers.
Actually I looted songflower along with like 6 other hordes around me once Was worried a bit, but nobody wanted escalation, so it went smooth. Felt like one girl 5 men meme.
