As the title says, the state of the “community” right now is laughable. Less than a week into the season and people are already demanding a higher ilvl than the dungeon even drops.

Just because of the gear inflation caused by broken scaling for delves done with groups. LFG was full of parties cheesing through T8 like knife through butter for two whole days. I guess over 90 % of these players would have never seen T8 delve solo on their own…

M0 are overtuned to the point you need voice call or a ton of gear to clear it. Blame Blizzard for having trash testers that can’t test this crap.

I’m not surprised people ask for that ilvl for M0, the average player:
1.) Does not say a single word
2.) Is not very skilled (nicely said)
Then you get this; unreasonable or absurd (sort of, it’s technically not but whatever - anyone can form a group with no requirements) requirements.

How many people did +10? Most didn’t and difference between HC and M0 isn’t as smooth as it was back in the day. So instead of having easier content to gear up we have overtuned M(1)0 and delves that just got shafted. So those that don’t want to wipe for 40 min on single boss will demand 600 ilvl.
It is all due to the broken scaling of group play in delves. We now have huge player base in gear they would have never acquired otherwise.
The effect is multiplied by the fact it is the start of season.
In Season 2, if delves scaling is not broken again, these players will acquire veteran track with some champ pieces there and there at the end of the season and the requirements for pugs will reflect that.

I have not touched group delves and did them all solo, I did exactly zero M1s and still will be almost 600 ilvl after I upgrade my gear in the evening.
So the progression is there and is possible without exploiting or abusing anything. Delves done with group and the broken scaling was nothing else than an abuse of broken end game system.
Because people are geared up. Now we only need crests to level up those peices of gear.
So people want a quick fast M0 run to get those crests…
Seems pretty normal to me…
Join likeminded player-groups, or create your own.
The M0s are partly pretty challenging if people don’t know or play some boss mechanics. Some of the trash also hits hard and you want to kill it ASAP.
Since you don’t know the people you invite, you want to err on the safe side and ask for decent gear. 595 is realistic after a couple days of T8 delves in groups.
Above all, when you make a group, you do get applications from very well geared players, and there is no reason not to take them.
Why do people keep saying this? it’s not true.
The squish was for the last season of dragon flight because the gear at the time was just that good. These are just mythic 0s and they are not hard.

Anyone complaining that the requirements for dungeons are too high is just complaining no one wants to carry them. There is simply no reason that someone like you can’t just create a group and set the requirements to whatever they want, it’s not like there’s a lack of players to pick from either.

That when people actually make the groups they realize WHY people ask for over-tuned requirements…
