The tourist menace and mass hysteria

All these entitled retail tourists who are coming to Classic for two-three weeks seriously need to stop making 9856 threads every day emitting ridiculous demands (“xp buffs” and “RDF” especially) that would just ruin the game for us actual (and constant) players. Stop. Just stop. We don’t care for your airs and graces.

It’s bad enough already that you flooded all the large servers and caused five+ hour queues. Don’t do any more damage. It’s not like any of you will remain after the mass hysteria dissipates in a couple of weeks. Then you’ll return to your retail hovels and we’ll be stuck with the changes that only you wanted.

If you don’t have the passion, attention span or mental fortitude to play the game as intended then don’t play at all.

Simple as.

this so much, stop trying to change the game that is not designed for you

Who’s entitled here btw?

Wanting to play the game AS INTENDED is being entitled?

No.

Being entitled is coming to Classic from Retail and forcefully demanding changes that no Classic player wants and that would fundamentally alter the game experience simply to suit your special little needs.

But this is the exact tourist mentality that is so problematic. There’s no arguing with you people. It’s like Moses preaching in the desert.

Playing the game as it was intented actually includes RDF (and removes h+, infinite vials from questing, etc.), but the question is not about that. Dividing the people in groups and talking from the whole group is actually looks “being entitled” to me.

You don’t want to use RDF? Fine don’t use it - no one takes your /4 channel.

Tell me you never played original Wrath without telling me you never played original Wrath.

Yeah, now who’s actually entitled here is also out of question

I don’t think your “butthurt” counts towards war crimes. This topic is now hillarious

Well this went south very fast……grabs popcorn.

I think you’re being a bit over dramatic tbh. I can understand your sentiment in first post; but I don’t think anyone is ‘forcibly demanding’ anything.

What exactly seems to be the proPPlem here?

I level my altoholic alts with the exp buff disabled. Oh right, it’s gone now NICE

Oh ok, now I’ve read all your post. Seems that I agree with you. Although you are a bit more passionate about it.

Don’t like the leveling ?`Go back to retail where you ding 50 within 6 hours.

I agree there

I like that you can’t even theorize that i could be Ukrainian. That’s very high level of politics from you. Also, Blizzard doesn’t require VPN to play WoW from Russia.

I also like that you don’t have anything to say against my points but being rascist

Your name is Russian not Malorussian my friend. And I believe that towards your kind I would be speciest, not racist. And I am glad that I got to you. But only because it was you that threw down the gauntlet. Not me. Haha. I will stop now. If I was too harsh I also apologize. I am sorry. But it was good banter you gotta give me that.

Anyway RDF was not implemented into WotLK until the very last phase. It wasn’t in the game from the beginning. Also while I understand why some people would want that XP boost back it was on for a month and I think it was made very clear from the start that it would go away after Wrath launch.

Malorussian

Oh, Putin’s fan here. I see

Many features wasn’t implemented into WotLK until ICC, like RBG, 3.3 class balance, 1.5 sec mounting, dual spec. Moreover Mythic diff and free flasks were not in original expansion.
They are here in WOTLK+, but why RDF is not?
The argument about “playing the game AS INTENTED” is just crushes when you take all changes into count

It was a jab. I don’t think it’s advised to discuss politics here so I won’t.

Wait what? Free flasks? I knew about free pots and some elixirs. But not flasks.

If you read my thread you also read all the others and already know what I’m gonna say. So there’s no use writing 5 paragraphs about it only to repeat what has been said thousands of times before.

TBH I don’t think the other changes have the same impact on the game as RDF would have. And you know why.

Get to Northrend ASAP.

So you don’t have any own points, but “hivemind” ones.

I don’t know why. Tell me how’s RDF affecting endgame more than dual spec? And now we moved from “it was in wotlk” to “i don’t want this in my wotlk” level which is again entitled

I am in Northrend. Got some pots and elixirs. No flasks.

Jeez dude, maybe there’s like a reason why we all make the same points.

You have your inexorable opinion and we have ours. That’s why this argument will lead nowhere. Not here or in any other related thread. Both sides are entrenched on their position and neither is willing to give any ground. Also idk why you keep insisting on the entitled thing. I don’t think we’re entitled in any way for not wanting RDF.

RDF is game killer for me and many others. Most Classic players actually. The only ones that seem to want it and keep pushing for it are the retail tourists that will be gone within the month (as proven by Classic and TBC already). People who just wanna rush 80 and afk in cities between RDF dungeon grinds instead of actually playing the game. With all the antisocial issues the game already has the last thing it needs is RDF.

:alien:

I guess I’m receiving them because of being tank, lol. Unlucky for you

Then why do you spawn another anti-RDF thread anyway?
I hope you enjoy when your next lead will require full SWP gear to go into Nexus, lol.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you’re trying to trigger me it’s not gonna work. I’m done trolling for tonight bro, sorry. So let it be BS. Also I redacted my offensive comments. They might be funny but they’re out of place.

Regardless, I stand by my words. RDF will be the final nail in the coffin of Classic. The other changes you mentioned (of which I’m not even entirely sure yet) are superfluous esp in comparison to RDF.

The game’s already plagued with boosters, gold sellers & buyers, GDKPs, bots, multiboxers, scammers and so on. Idk why, but I have a strong feeling that you’re at least two of those things.

Either way, most tourists come to Classic and just wanna get boosted to max lv asap, spam some dungeons, do some quick GDKPs to buy loot (9/10 times with illicit gold), afk/get carried in battlegrounds to get free honor, etc, etc, etc. They want everything for free, without meriting any of it, and they want it all in one day.

They don’t want to play the game. They just want to rush to the end game content (like in retail). And they take everything for granted. Then in 2-3 weeks they get “bored” (I wonder why) and leave. And we are left with the mess they caused. Like for example the ruination of the servers’ economy due to gold buyers. But what do tourists care?

Now they want xp boosts and RDF. Soon they’ll want a function where the game plays itself and you just watch or play Tetris in the meantime.

RDF will be the final death of Classic.

I have spoken.

Because I can. I live in a free country.

I will. I had dozens of toons across the years and I haven’t boosted a single one. Can you believe that? Can you even imagine? I leveled and maxed out dozens of toons the old school, traditional way. Through socializing, like questing with other people and doing dungeons with them, and joining progression guilds.

Don’t forget that Retail Bois and Classic Andys are not the only categories, although they are the only ones at war. Players that played Wotlk for years on pservers are the ones that should have the biggest say in this because they know exactly which features work and which doesn’t. They don’t rant when a new content is added (e.g. heroic plus), they don’t rant about megaservers, they don’t rant about not having RDF. They’ve been through this on pservers and know if not having RDF is a bad or good change or if new content should be added to wotlk or not.

Trying to please Retail Bois will inevitably anger Classic Andys and vice versa. Retail Bois should finally get that Wotlk Classic is not Retail, and Classic Andys should finally get that Wotlk Classic is not Wotlk 2008.

Why do I think that pserver players are a significant portion of Classic playerbase? Look at server status and megaservers size. For a pserver player, megaserver is just natural. Retail Bois can’t stand it because they are used to connected realms and Classic Andys are used to server size from 2008.

Playing as a tank or healer rewards you with a package of random supplies. These include some elixers, food and very rarely a mount from instances, like Anzy, Deathcharger from Strath olme, e.t.c.

So why not wait for it to happen if that is inevitable?
