The amount of genuine critiques of the mage tower that have been replied with “Git Gud” is kinda pathetic imo. The new TW Mage Tower is so obviously over tuned and badly thought out yet the toxic players who throw out the “iTs NoT eVeN hArD! gIt GuD!” Most of the player base are simply asking it be tuned properly and to not have to resort to spending 100k+ on 4 year old gear and gems because players are charging an absolute obscene amount of gold for items that cost coppers to make. For the players who want it to be so easy it’s basically not a challenge…simply disregard their comments. Don’t be an a**hole about it. I want the MT to be a challenge like it was on the first tower spawn but this is infinitely harder and requires cheesing gems and enchants and for those very few players who will inevitably comment “i DiD iT wItHoUt ThEm. YoU jUsT bAd!” So did I, my dude, but it was a loooooooot harder than having them.
Doing Imp mother on my fury warr I did on average 800 DPS then I did it again first try with the optimised out dated gear and did on average 1200 DPS THEN 1 shot Xylem with around the same DPS…That’s an insane increase for having full blues.
From seeing the comments on the forum to witnessing the massively inflated prices of the BiS gear for MT in the AH I realised just how toxic the wow community is and it’s honestly laughable. For every “GIT GUD” comment you’re dragging this community further and further into the mud. All this uproar over yet another reskinned armour appearance. I hope you’re proud of it.
It is overtuned and the gear scaling is a joke, but let’s be real, the complaining won’t stop even when it’s properly tuned. As long as it’s difficult, people will complain. That much is clear from the way the complaints are worded.
Not in all cases, but when the complaint is “I tried 10 times and didn’t win”, saying “git gud” is about as appropriate as it gets.
Most of the complaints I’ve seen are from people who did it in Legion early on and they can’t do it now. That’s where the frustration comes from I think. I’ve not tried it yet as I knew it would have issues, I’ll just wait it out until people know best strats and it’s been ironed out. I don’t feel like being a beta tester.
It makes sense for people to be frustrated when it’s harder than it was before for worse rewards.
Also older gear should never be better than current, Even in timewalker. Blizzard issue. They need to fix their scaling if this is the case.
WoW actually have a terrible community, which is killing the game. In short future, you won’t be able to play %60 of the content without paying other players. Even in M + pug runs tanks started to ask for gold. But be carefull speaking pure truth on this forum. All you will get insults, reportings and silencing.

Out of Overwatch and World of Warcraft I can’t pick which is worst. It’s like a deposit of really angry people that’ll latch on your throat for anything.
Honestly so far I’ve completed 4 and outside the bear who was a hell of a challenge, the 3 others I did were rather “easy” (if you think dark souls kind of easy, still took 1h/1h30 to complete).

Ok. Let’s say it’s overtuned. So how do you explain the fact that a lot of players have done that? Some needed more attempts, some less, but the fact is that many have done it.
I don’t think it’s much harder. The reason people might remember it being easier is that they either didn’t do as early as they think and did in fact outgeared it, or had some way of cheesing the fights, like shadow priest S2M or aff lock’s corruption slow legendary.
However I did the Guardian challenge back in the day while not being very geared on it, because I don’t play tank druid, but I really wanted the bear form, and it took me some 80 attempts. It was not easy back then. Definitely not nearly as easy as people want it to be now.
