Back in the days players didn’t use world buffs in raids…not even Naxx.
There were no such thing as Feral dps, the shapeshifting was not even invented.
Warriors wasn’t highest dps:er, one reason is that they didn’t utilize world buffs.
Players knew nothing about the game. There were no Mage boosters; no Mara, ZF, ZG nor Strat farmers…
There were no bots…
There were basically no real good addons for anything…
The number of internet guides were few, and there were no YouTube tutorials nor Streamers…
People played on bad computers with a garbage internet connection…
Most people didn’t even get to clear a single raid…

Game itself shouldn’t be changed with nonesense crap.

Yes, I really want it. Actually, I play WoW cleanly without addons, and without looking for help, videos, or guides on the internet. Otherwise, you ruin the challenge the game has, which isn’t much anyway.
And yes, I know the original experience was different; in fact, it was the best experience, and I say this because I was there. I am also fully aware that it will never come back. Mostly because people’s mindset has changed. Few of us still play WoW for pure enjoyment. Anyway, times change.

Good luck, it’s unrealistic - will never happen again unless you do lots of changes and go full North Korea style and start banning players who don’t follow the TRUE authentic experience.
You also have to remove all Streamers and YouTube content creators and also wipe your mind clean so that WoW is a completely new game for you.

I did same. No addons, no help. It still was fun. I could just “unsee” bots and boosters. But changes to interface is pushed into eyes every time I play is too much!
And btw. bots was always. Only not as much of them.

Exactly. Even with no changes. The game is never gonna be what it was.
When Classic came out it did come with changes it was never Vanilla. And with the addition of the Chronoboon world buffs became the new meta. MoS should have been added back then. When it came I thought better late then never, but Blizzard dropped the ball. I don’t think we’ll ever see it again.
Back to staring at the screen in barrens.

The community is 100% at fault for not having that feeling anymore.
It is way too high influx from retail players who btw mostly wanted classic to fail. And when they could not make it to fail they tried to play it stayed and now askign for QoL changes they seen in retail to bypass dynamic progression and commitment to the game
