The upcoming new 40v40 bg and q-syncing

As a long-time bg player, I am very happy that there will be a new 40v40 bg. However, let’s imagine what, in essence, it will turn to from the very beginning.

A new bg, new content, huge amounts of ppl will queue for it to try, and all our notorious premade leaders will rub their hands in expectation of so much fresh meat for their honor farm. They will drool at the crowds of solo queuers, gy camped in the new bg.
More and more premade communities will emerge. This new bg will actually be
a further catalyst for the problem. Because of these very negative experiences, it will be a complete (and loud) failure.

That is, if Blizzard has not already come up with a solution which will be implemented at the launch of Midnight (or the launch of the new bg)
Have they?
Are they imagining what will happen if no solution, or are they busy with other things?
Where are you at, Blizzard?
I want to know this, because if no solution to the sync queuing in Mindnight, then they should be prepared for the amount of player rage that will follow, and even players that will unsubscribe.

So let’s remind Blizzard, starting from now, until it’s not too late:

Q-syncing must be stopped. Premades that break the rule of how many can queue together must be stopped.

The more we speak, the more we’re visible. Comment. Make your voice heard.

Heh, does it matter where it’s being ignored, here on under the bluepost?

Yeah, they either start dealign with the premades or it will be pointless…also old epic bgs need to be revisited as well for balancing and tuning.

If they release new 40vs40 BG while still pretending queue syncing is not recognized in unrated and rated pvp, I would be suprised.

Usually they bring the needed changes when adding some new content, new 40vs40 BG is a good chance to change the queue system to prevent any syncing at all and support it by the release of new large scale BG:

  • queue invite time randomization
  • not displaying how many have accepted
  • BN account wide debuff if not accepting queue invite exponentially increasing

I don’t know. There was a time long ago when bgs were infested with bots and it took Blizzard more than a year to start banning them and clear everything up. And it was a very serious issue, so this one being somewhat minor compared to it… I am sure they are aware, my concern is about how much they think it’s a problem or not, so let’s hope they find the time to implement a permanent and effective solution.
