My main since MoP started out as a Pandaren Monk (alliance). a few years lates i got my friends to play WoW with me, and they wanted to play horde, so i faction changed. This was around the time where Vulperas were brand new (BFA) so i went with Vulpera. Through the years i grew really fond of this character as a vulpera. it wasn’t until after this race change that i started doing high end M+ (timing +20 keys) and overcoming the harder challanges with my friends in wow. Later i had to faction change again, to progress Mythic Raiding with an Alliance guild we joined. i wen’t with Void elf. now the guild has died, and i want to go back to horde and the race that i feel the most connection to my character as : Vulpera. But i just can’t justify paying to race change from the TOP performing race, to the WORST performing race. Yes, i am aware that its a minor difference, but then the utility racials also come into play. these Bonuses CAN REALLY matter in M+. ( just Look at dwarves and Night elves )
The worst races are pretty consistantly as follows : Undead,Nightborne,LF Draenei,Vulpera,Mag’har.
i am NOT asking for other races to be nerfed. i only wish for those consistantly on the bottom are brought a little bit up to par with the rest. give them something more useful and juice up the the combat ones to match for example ; void elf’s [Entropic Embrace]
Also, why do mechagnomes literally have a better version of draenei’s racial ‘‘Heroic presence’’ ? is it really so important that their Main stat Racial is better than the Draenei main stat one ?

they can “balance” them by just removing them

actually I love the second trinket for fear on my undead mage. Lets me play without pvp trinket at all (blink for stuns, racial for fear/charm). Maybe in PvE it’s trash but it’s ok in pvp
Agree on vulpera, tho!

i mean they could. but i bet your Arcane torrent has come in very handy for you
honestly i don’t think i’ve ever used it outside of mythic+ which i’ve barely done

It is not a better version. It is a different version.
There are plenty of cases that drenai racial is strictly better (m+, burst, short fights).
But generally speaking, dps racials are pretty well balanced, with worst cases being at a 2-3% difference and most others being between 1% of each other. Also keep in mind that the “worst” racials you point to, generally start being the best at the start of expansions, and scale worse at the end of expansions (since they do not scale that well with stats).
To be fair, utility racials are another matter altogether. Although this is the price we pay for flavor (to have abilities that are op in certain cases and useless in others).

I think they need to stay as they are.
There needs to be incentive to play the less populated faction.
This stuff is so unimpactful except for a couple of outliers like dwarf / nelf.
I wish people would stop agonizing over stuff like this.

yes another dumbing down systems and removing uniqueness is literally what we (DO NOT ) need, cuz you are doing 0,1% dmg difference with some racials OMG TERRIBLE !!

How bland would that be? I had so much fun with shadowmeld alone during classic in world PvP.

The RPG genre has been moving away from racials recently in general. I guess it’s not in vogue, especially politically.
I think it’s a great shame. I think there’s significant difference in tens of fantasy between being a Pandaren and a Gnome, and I see no reason why that cultural and physical differences cannot play out in combat.
Any semblance of hope that WoW arena can be balanced should already have faded a long time ago. The is no reason to minutely try to balance this. I’m tired of hyper-competitive players complaining that they can’t help themselves from rerolling to something they don’t like for a 0.6% advantage.

Lightforged Draenei and Vulpera are painfully underwhelming though. No DPS passives (e.g. +1% Crit/Haste/Vers), and the active abilities don’t even out-DPS a normal rotational spell despite having a substantial cooldown.
As a comparison, a normal Draenei gets a small 113 bonus to their main stat as a passive and an active utility spell that feels rewarding to use. The small bonus to main stat already feels like you are not left behind when it comes to DPS, and the utility spell makes your racial choice feel useful.
A Lightforged can never use their racial active because it’s a straight up DPS loss compared to just using normal class/spec abilities. They don’t have any passives that are useful in combat. The only half useful passive requires them to die first. It’s just so unsatisfying to play.

Unimpactful is unimpactful, i didnt need a thesis on the matter to tell me its not worth the headspace.
People will, however, base their choice around what feels fun. When a racial pick does not feel fun, people will avoid it. Especially so for the copy&paste races like Lightforged Draenei, when a more “fun” alternative is available. It’s not important what is numerically better, or by how much. If it feels uneventful and weak, it’s perceived as “useless” and “not fun”.
Just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean this does not matter to a lot of people.

At the same time blizz keep trying to please everyone and end up pleasing noone when ir if they act on feedback like this.
Id rather they just ignored it as irrelevant or trivial. If it makesbpeople mad, well tough, they were gonna be mad anyway.
True, or they should be picked on the char creation screen.
I am sure Undead can be fasionistas and get tmog discount, Tauren can build small camps and Goblins perform a 20 yard charge slam forward, and dont forget the Will of the Furrsaken when Worgen removes all fear and STD effects every 2 minutes during Goldshire player events.
Major omission here. Kul’tiran horrible lumbering animation (feels so slow), faster swim speed (roll druid if ya wants to swim), and a slow cast punch with knock back :(.
Why did I roll this char +20 levels on new char in BFA days.
